Weekly Development Update 10.16.2026


This week, I've focused most of my time on preparing NeonStrip v0.39.0a, the next monthly build.
I’m keeping this update a little smaller, so I have enough time to finish everything planned, properly test it, and give the build some additional polish before release.
For v0.39.0a, I’m working on new character expressions, including crying and laughing, along with new dialogue commands and actions. Dialogue itself is also receiving improvements aimed at faster generation and giving NPCs more awareness of their surroundings.
I’m also planning an appearance generator for randomly spawned NPCs, which should help create much more variety throughout the island.
The environment received some attention as well, with new underwater vegetation being added to oceans and other bodies of water.
And there is one more fairly significant addition coming: a new Adult Intercourse Mode. That’s all I’m saying about that one. You’ll have to figure out the rest yourself when v0.39.0a releases.

I’ve also uploaded a new NeonStrip v0.38.4a gameplay video, giving everyone an inside look at the current state of the game before we move into 0.39.0a.
I’ve refreshed the YouTube channel graphics as well, bringing its design more in line with the other NeonStrip pages.
