Let's go over what I did this week:
Thursday - After last week's update, I finished preparing the house for Hurricane Isaias.
Friday - I left for my sister's house in the early afternoon. Around 6ish that night, the hurricane reached us. We lost power at about 7pm. Luckily, they have a generator so after the hurricane passed, we had limited power. Water was off for a short amount of time, but quickly was restored, so no issues there. My sister lost part of her fence and the top of one of her trees was torn off and landed in a neighbor's backyard, thankfully not hitting anything on the way down. Despite everything, damage was surprisingly minimal and everyone was okay.
Sat - We mostly sat around and played board games
Sun - Power was restored at about 1 pm, about 42 hours after we lost it. That was the power at my sister's house... not mine.
Mon - Mostly hung around my sister's house. Made a trip or two back to my place to clean up some stuff in the yard and take the window coverings off. Still no power there.
Tue - Again, mostly hung around my sister's house with a trip or two back home to clean out the fridge and finish cleaning up the small amount that needed cleaned up. No damage to the house itself, just some flowers and woodchips blown around. Still no power.
Wed - Power finally comes back on at my house around 3 or 4 pm, making it just a few hours short of six days without power there. One last dinner at my sister's, then finally returned home.
Thursday - Started typing this update. Still a work in progress.
Anyway, the tldr here is that I didn't get a fucking thing done production-wise the entire week. I'm more than ready to get back to it, though, but before I do... it's time for a post-hurricane tournament... the first ever Best Boobs tourney, in fact! As soon as I get this posted, I'll be putting the first four matches up on the Discord server, so head over and get your votes in when you get a chance!
Obviously, I don't have much more to add. I've got some stuff to do before I get to work on the next release, which is a story featuring a couple of our podium winners from the Best Ass tournament. That will go out on the first Thursday after it's done, which with the delay may be the "normal" Thursday, or it could possible be a week early depending on how quickly I get it done.
Either way, I'm going to leave this one here and I'll see you in the next one!
