Devlog: Hell, sinners and demons
Hell news, everyone!
It’s been a while since I wrote about current development and where we’re headed. Right now I’m working on the Hell location, and I’ll be honest: it’s the hardest one for me. Frankly, I couldn’t get a proper grip on it for the last couple of months, and none of the concepts I built satisfied me. What I have now, I like far more than what was in the original version. I decided to drop the labyrinth concept and make the location more compact, so we avoid large empty spaces. It will be populated by the demons you saw in Purgatory, by the God of Time Bee’h himself, and by sinners who will suffer. There will be succubi, futa succubi, and incubi. The appearance of the demons will also change with outfits. Demonic Armor will be available for Barbarian later. The master of Hell has also changed a bit compared with the original. I decided to make him more bloodthirsty and brutal. That bloodthirst doesn’t mean lustful scenes with him won’t be available.
Sinners and Hell interaction— I’m actively working on this right now. The idea is that Barbarian will have two roles in Hell.
As a sinner, we’ll have to choose one of the punishments for ourselves. After that the level restarts, and her “suffering” starts again.
How do you feel about an Iron Maiden where, instead of spikes, it's full of slippery tentacles? Or Barbarian will be able to become a demoness and torture the sinners. I’m still thinking about how to turn that into a small quest.
Overall, the Hell location has a lot of potential for lewd scenes and events, so there’s enough work here for several releases.
The plan is to build and release the location in several stages, then finally shape and finish the first main quest, Servant of the Gods, over the next few months.
