Log inLAST BREAK FOR THE YEAR
Hi! I don't normally do breaks this close together, but I want to take another breather for over a week (9-10 days) so I can properly come at this stuff with full power and give H-scenes the sauce they need.
I mentioned my exhaustion a bit in the Rogue Princess 0.411 post and wanted to push through until I hit gold, but I'm going to just publicly accept I'm still burnt out and need more time to recover instead of dragging through with low energy.
I totally could just take the break without saying anything, but it sits better with me being transparent about longer breaks so at least folks who want to get their money's worth know which time period they wanna resub and such :)
No, I won't be offended if you unsub during this break. There are a lot of amazing developers out there, save that money!
I've been doing this for about 1 1/2 years so moments like this will start coming more often over time, it's my responsibility to keep finding ways to maintain every part of the machine. I've mostly got a good handle on development pacing now, but stuff like PR, handling feedback/attention, etc are probably the heaviest hats I'm wearing at the moment.
