A long and tedious story about how I got tired working on the game, or simply put, the 0.6 version devlog

What’s up guyssssss, how’s it going? By the time of the public release I’d built up some serious fatigue and it wasn’t exactly a good time, but I feel more or less fine now.
Before I get into the new version, I want to talk about the 0.5 release. As it turned out afterwards, there were quite a lot of bugs in it, even though I checked everything thoroughly (or so I thought). I’ve got nothing to say in my defense except that I was trying to drop the update as fast as possible and move on to new content - but it turned out how it turned out (shit).
Am I planning to change anything? Definitely. Once I finish all the work on version 0.6, I’m going to take 2-3 full days to test the game as thoroughly as possible. (I can already tell I’m going to find a ton of bugs.) So the update will come out later than planned, as much as I don’t want that - but I want to push a buggy game even less.
Planned release date for version 0.6 for my Patreon and Subscribestar subscribers - 18.09, public release 25.09. If I can drop it earlier, I will, but I can’t promise anything.
Anyway, I wanted to start shipping updates as often as possible, but it went the usual way... I’ll do better from now on. And now we get to the 0.6 update news...
Wait, hold on. I want to say something about Keepix.
I think anyone who launched the game and tried to open that app already gets what it is. If not - short version: it’s collecting all kinds of content (photos, recordings, screenshots of the girls).
In one of the updates this app will become free. When exactly? When I feel like it has enough content and no bugs. I’ll be updating this app alongside BloopChat, so content should pile up pretty fast. But I should say this upfront: as soon as it goes free, I’ll specifically make one content category for paid subscribers only (and which one that is stays a secret for now :P). I think that’s fair to everyone.
And I’ll probably do the same with every new game mechanic - early access for paid subscribers first, then a public release. And believe me, I’m already tired of my own ideas for new game mechanics. I’ve piled up so many of them I have no idea where I’m supposed to find the time to implement each one...
Alright, now it’s actually about 0.6!
And there’s not really much to say lmaooo
No, seriously, I just looked at the completed tasks in my task manager and besides code optimization, adding new mini-games, and new Keepix content there’s nothing else in there :D
You could say this update is me fixing my own mistakes and adding a small amount of content... well, kind of...
Rumi’s story ended up pretty Long. And now let’s move on to it, and I’ll go over the vote results.
I just want to show how long her chat is - for context, Sofie’s story isn’t as long as this one.
And even then not everything fit into the screenshot, and I can’t zoom out any further. Sure, length doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but the fact that it came out longer than the previous stories makes me happy.
By the way, there’s more media this time too. It comes out to 34 photos and 15 videos with sound, not counting voice messages. For now I’ve put the AI voice message idea on hold because the quality is just completely off, and finding girls to voice them is still hard.
OOPS SUDDEN ATTACK OF A CHEERFUL KITTY
By the way, I’m going to redo the render, but I’ll leave this one here.
One more quick thing about Keepix: 6 new screenshots and 7 photo cards out of the 13 planned are already done. Here’s one of them.
And speaking of mini-games, there will be 4 of them now, and they’ll launch in random order. Once there are 10, I’ll make it so the player can pick a specific mini-game to ''battle for the reward''. Here’s one of them.
That’s about it. And now, the vote results.
TAAAA-DAAAAA
Meanwhile on SubscribeStar nobody voted :(((( Next time everybody vote >:3

Honestly, I’m curious myself what this goth girl is going to turn into... I think I’ll start writing the script pretty soon so I don’t drag development out.
Thanks to everyone who voted, and if you missed it - you’ll have plenty more chances in the future.
That’s all, see you at the release.
Have an easy week, everyone!
