Aurelina enters the story as Penelope’s older sister and protector, doing everything she can to survive a world that never gave either of them much room for softness. She acts brave because she has to—but underneath that, she wants the same things Penelope does: safety, affection, beauty, and a place where she no longer has to hide.
Once she’s finally given that chance, Aurelina doesn’t become someone new so much as someone freer. The strength is still there, but so is the tenderness, warmth, and longing she was never allowed to show.
These images are a closer look at Aurelina’s standard adventuring design from several angles—her practical gear, long dark hair, and the details that shape her look before everything changes.
I’ve been building out quite a bit of character and environment art around From Ash to Home, so while I’m working on what comes next, I thought it would be fun to share more of that visual side of the world.
