From Ash to Home — Character Spotlight: Kade
Originally published on Patreon: Aug 12, 2026.Kade — AdventurerThe first of a few closer character spotlights from From Ash to Home.
Kade began as a lone adventurer—practical, capable, and much more comfortable dealing with danger than with suddenly finding himself responsible for two people who needed somewhere safe to belong.
These images are a closer look at his standard adventuring design from several angles: the gear he wears when he’s out exploring, fighting, and inevitably looking for whatever might be hidden in the next chest.
He may have started the story looking for loot.
He ended up finding something considerably more valuable.
I’ve been building out quite a bit of character and environment art around From Ash to Home, so while I’m working on what comes next, I thought it would be fun to share more of that visual side of the world.
