About the Clutch Time Release

Hey everyone. I know this isn’t the update announcement you were looking for, but I really needed to get this out first. I want you to know how these past few months have been and how things are progressing.

To put it bluntly, development has barely moved forward. It’s not because I’ve lost motivation, burnt out, or anything like that, not at all. I still love bringing the stories in my head to life, making visual novels with an erotic edge, and seeing how hooked I’ve been from day one, constantly learning new things and enjoying the process more and more. That’s definitely not the issue. The real issue right now is time. I have absolutely zero free time, none at all. This is my final year at university, and I have less time on my hands than ever. And with what little free time I do get... I'm sorry, but I'm just too exhausted and drained to work on the game. It’s not just uni, either; there are several personal things eating up my time, and these past few months have been completely non-stop.

The game is so close to being done, practically on the finish line. If I remember correctly, all that’s left is rendering one full scene and about 8–9 animations. After that, it’s just translating and releasing it for everyone. Whenever I add new content, I always test everything thoroughly, so I know it all works as intended. My point is, there’s barely anything left to finish, but I just can't find the time to sit down and wrap it up. Days keep slipping by, you don't hear from me, and I haven't been active on Discord. I felt I had to put out an update just to let you know I’m still here, Clutch Time is still front and center in my mind, but pushing this update across the line is proving really tough.

I’ll have a lot more free time starting in January, but I refuse to make you wait that long, I really don’t want to.

More than anything, this message is to reassure you that the project is still alive, even though these past few months haven’t gone according to plan. You deserve to know what’s going on. I know it might not sound great, but I’d rather be upfront and honest with you.

On a side note, during my daily commute to university, I try to take advantage of the travel time to work on things I actually can do on the go, like writing. I love writing, and I already know where the next update is headed. I even have another story developing in my head that I’m really excited about, though that’s for down the road. I'd love to make more progress on the go, but pulling out my laptop on a crowded train to render scenes in front of everyone isn't really an option haha.

I think that covers everything; I hope I didn't miss anything. I really just needed to get this off my chest. Not sure if this turned into a wall of text, but thank you if you made it this far. I really hope to get Clutch Time out to you once and for all soon.
