[PUBLIC RELEASE] Season 2 Episode 6 Now Available to All!


Here it is! This is what we've been waiting for, and a day early, to boot, thanks to a good handful of signups on the Patreon and SubscribeStar. Thank you to everyone who is supporting WCA!

Season 2 Episode 6 explores what's been going on with Jack, as well as Saarya and a couple new faces, releasing with an estimated 4 additional hours of content. Kageshini's Romance Route is releasing alongside S2E6 for free; WCA just had its 5 year anniversary, and the community has been kind enough to not pirate our paid content, so we decided to make a DLC that was initially going to be a paid product free to everyone. Forever. Thank you again! Kageshini's story is still in development, and she currently has 7 scenes.

  • Side Story scenes added (25 new scenes, several of which are H-scenes)

  • Kageshini now romanceable. DLC downloadable for FREE, for everyone, forever. You can get Kageshini here or you can play S2E6 and get her after you finish the episode :)
  • New popularity survey because it's been years since we've done one, and we want to get a feel for which characters may be rising in popularity

Quality of Life updates:
  • Character book icons now grey out when you've played all currently available scenes, even if the character has more future scenes in this build
  • Added checkmark that displays over character icons when all scenes in this build have been played
  • Added tooltip-on-hover function that tells you whether or not you've played all scenes, or if you just need to play further in the main story
  • Adjustments to button logic in the Harpy's button that will now show her with a checkmark instead of keeping her as a ? mark even though you've done everything
  • Replaced Galka's icon for better distinction between when she has scenes available and when she doesn't
  • Replaced Ibti's icon to better show her face

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed an issue where Petra's button would not give a tooltip stating she's only available at night
  • Replaced a video clip for Wither where the shadow of an orb was visible (unused camera object)
  • Adjusted one of Cecilia's scenes to have more Dissolve transitions
  • (Saffryn) adjusted the Color tag so the Chapter Select menu would not error out
  • (Senia) fixed an issue where, if a player played all the way through Senia's story and got the Chapter Select, then tried to play it again, they would not get the Chapter Select menu anymore
  • Fixed an issue where Druthari's maxquest variable was incorrectly set, so her Voicemail scene was not viewable
  • Adjusted the T4+ exclusive auto-update version to include all DLCs by default
  • Fixed a typo in Eshtel's questline
  • Fixed a button logic problem with Petra, where one of her scenes is only available during your shift, but her button prevents you from interacting with her until nighttime

Potential patch playtime: 4.5 hours on autoplay. Several people who have played it estimate around 4 hours depending on how long you spend on... "certain" scenes lol
