June Dev Log

Heya, renaming those to dev logs because...well that's what this is and I can't believe I forgot.
Right so, I know it's been a long time waiting for this update. Been a little overly enthusiastic with making my first turn-by-turn. I suppose at least there'll be lots of scenes and actions !
And hey progress has been great !
Sprites and background for the casino games are completely done, so are all of the 87 close up action shots of the casino interactions ! And I'm very lucky to receive help on the coloring of the fullscreen cgs, which would have taken a lot of time that I can now dedicate to other parts of the game. The dialogues happening during the games also has been written fully.
I've managed to fix up and rebalance the games themselves to be a smoother experience, and added some fx for a nice visual polish.
And on top of that, the casino games have been fully integrated in the main game (was separated for testing purposes, also integration needed some special things like the ability to display the stats in the log).

Another small fun thing is that I've optimized the game to now take up less than half of what it previously did, from 1.37Go to 588mo on my latest test build. Thanks to itch.io's tips !
So now what's left is pretty much to write and finish the shading of the fullscreen cgs for all those scenes not happening during, but around the casino ! I'm bad with estimations so take it with a grain of salt, but I'm hopeful I might manage to finish this one within a month-ish.
All in all, life got in the way but the progress is looking good. I'm working hard to deliver this one as soon as I can, but it is one colossal update !
And as a "sorry I know it's been a while since the last update", here is a public sneak peek : D
(can't make it too spicy for a public post, sadly)
