Female Link Friday - Winter Wandering 12 - End


And with that, the winter series is finally over. I would've liked to have some snow in the piece -- as if it was vanishing as the flowers bloomed, but it just didn't happen.
Unlike a winter scene, a springtime scene is much harder work -- especially if one wants to fit in a bunch of flowers. In winter, I can rely on colours and vague shapes obscured by the snow and atmosphere, but images like this require more technical & organic design elements. I may need a lot of practice and study if I want to make consistently compelling springtime scenes.
