Bubbly, optimistic, and energetic, Kimmy is a brilliant scientist in the field of genetics and mutation, and always seeks to expand her understanding of the phenomena of the world around her. She’s very "gungho" about her research and the potential scientific strides it would mean for society, though her tunnel vision often leads to her not fully realizing the repercussions of them until passing the tipping point.

While much of her original research was lost in the wake of the Delta Disaster (and what was recovered, provided to Dr. Jill), she still retains a photographic recollection of all her findings.
