🤦‍♀️ SubscribeStar cracking down on content?

So I just made a post a few minutes ago and for the first time ever got a “Under Review” notice from SubscribeStar. This does not bode well for the platform known for their lenient hands-off approach and commitment to freedom of speech.

A quick search reveals Reddit threads created by SubscribeStar.Adult NSFW creators like me - many of whom have been posting non-mainstream/unconventional content for years without issue - who have either been censored without notice or completed deplatformed within the last 3 weeks.

Well…I’m sure SS is caving to puritanical payment processors and going on some mass crusade, which would be the death of the platform. Coupled with the excruciating censorship I’ve received from Patreon, this just makes me feel tired. I want to create what I want to create without constraint. It’s as simple as that. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

This is the dark ages of art. You can’t put kink into a box. You can’t put creativity in a box. You can’t put humans in a box. When soulless corporate bullies try to oppress our expression, watch us REBEL!

We’ll see how this all plays out, but I will be looking for safer options in the interim.

If my works get hidden or if I get delisted, save my linktree info because I will find another safe haven or make my own site. Reddit users are talking about Fanbox or Ghost, so I’ll have to research. I hate the idea of changing my content to meet some corporate standard that wants to kink-wash everything. If I get deplatformed, I have enjoyed my time with you! You have made this such a fun and sexy adventure!
