The sight that greeted me after waking up, when my battery was fully charged, filled me with anticipation. A quick mental yes had me almost pumping my arms in joy before busting out some dance moves.
[Almighty Push]
Elite Ability
Allows you to exert an incredible repulsion force under your control that can even wipe out entire streets as a normal human but has a 5-second cooldown.
[Esper]
Elite Trait
You are a naturally born Esper, abilities are second nature to you. You understand, develop, and master abilities far faster, and you possess a unique intuition when it comes to your abilities. Ability cooldowns are halved.
[Muscular]
Elite Ability
You can freely increase the density and mass of muscle fibres in your body, massively increasing your explosive power and durability. If you increase the fibres more than they can fit in your skin, they will cover the outside of your body, wrapping around you like a second set of muscles. The more muscle fibers you have, the faster you will burn through your stamina.
Almighty push alone would prove invaluable. The capacity to simply use the Naruto equivalent of a force push to either outright obliterate everything in my path or as a means to defend myself from attacks. The cooldown was annoying and potentially only good for one shot in a fight since, against Asajj Ventress at the speed we fought, that one shot may as well be all that I will get.
But the second one… that changed Almighty Push. And everything else for that matter. Already thoughts came unbidden about different uses for powers I already had. Better methods to use them for different situations, even how to potentially use them more effectively without sacrificing the destructive power.
The last had me bang my head against a metal wall with a ding ringing across the ship. This is bullshit! I got access to that discount Toguro from My Hero Academia's power, and I can’t even use it because I don’t have a flesh and blood body.
That could have helped me so much. Letting out a long, suffering sigh before I sat down in the pilot's seat, I exited hyperspace just in time. What lay before me was one of the most iconic planets in all of Star Wars, where so many important things happened, yet in universe it was considered a less than civilized backwater planet.
The last reward I got told me all that I needed to know. Pitou had succeeded in her task. The best stage of our plans had begun. Landing the ship after contacting Pitou, letting her know I was here. It didn’t take long for her to find me when one moment I was going over ideas for my different powers and the next my Haki kicked in, telling me she was right behind me.
If it wasn’t for observation haki and my enhanced sensory ability, I wouldn’t have even known she was behind me. “Jabba is under our control. You did a wonderful job, Pitou!” I said happily. I turned around to look at her only to pause.
Pitou was not wearing the clothes I summoned her in. Not that I expected her to wear the same thing every day for the rest of her life. It’s the new clothes that gave me pause and made me mentally blue screen.
She was wearing what amounted to an Arabian belly dancer outfit that was mostly dark blue with gold edging and decorative lines and symbols woven into it. A piece of silk fabric that was covering her private and posterior regions while leaving the majority of her legs on display with a generous amount of her thighs out in the open. Her midriff was exposed with only sheer netting around it. A toned stomach with pale flesh could be seen through it.
My photoreceptors trailed up seeing the piece of cloth that kept her puppies from the world. Her shirt did a good job of hiding them because they looked a lot bigger than they were under that shirt. More of that sheer netting clung to her upper body, she even had a veil covering her mouth and lower jaw.
Pitou smiled lightly before bowing humbly before me. “I merely live to serve Tobi.” Her kneeling before me dressed like that did things to me.
Things that made me very angry. Screw having a mechanical body, I want to feel again! It’s like being able to taste things and have all of the greatest chefs cooking for you, but you can’t eat any of it. There is no point in living if you can’t enjoy the simple things in life.
Like a catgirl prostrating herself before me dressed like that. Her tail lazily flicked through the air with her ears twitching. She raised her head and tilted it, looking at me with that ever present smile. Despite how badly I wanted to just keep staring at her and enjoy the beauty before me, I wasn’t cruel enough to subject myself to that hell since I couldn’t properly enjoy it.
Forcing myself back on track, I asked the next question. “How is Nemesis progressing?”
I stared around at the desert planet to distract myself and not look at Pitou. It was cool to watch from space with the twin suns, even cooler to land on it. Now… it was boring and sucked. Kind of like how disappointing it was for Fry from Futurama on his first spaceship delivery. I could see why Anakin didn’t like this place all too much. Besides the whole being a slave here and losing his mom to the savage tribal people.
The place was incredibly hot, sand everywhere for miles, and no need to mention the dangerous species of animals that called this planet home, Pitou not counted amongst them. Kind of surprised Jabba chose this place for his palace.
“He is improving quickly, still not at the level he needs to be at.” She said, a happy smile forming at the mention of the hulking bioweapon.
“Good. Keep training him. I want him prepared for his tasks in what is to come.” I said while putting on an act like I was some type of criminal mastermind. Might as well be since I just took over Jabba’s criminal empire. My voice took on a foreboding and dark edge to it while Pitou was kept out of my sight as I looked at anything and everything but her.
Pitou had to carry me to the palace since it would take far too long for me to get there on foot even with glide. And like hell I am walking several miles in a desert. On the outside, the palace wasn't something I thought a powerful crime lord would live in, given how unassuming it appeared beyond its size.
Once inside, I could see it as a gangster's home. Hanging silks, smoke, and what I could assume was incense filled the air, and people indulged in food, pleasures of the flesh, or drugs.
Pitou led me around the place while keeping me wrapped up in robes that helped disguise me. Rather not have a bunch of criminals learning there was a B1 battle droid inside of Jabba’s palace. People would start asking questions I’d rather avoid when Jabba was currently allowing the Republic to use some of his hyperspace lanes.
Pitou led me further into the palace, with several of the people around us eyeing Pitou subtly but also showing her respect. A Twi’lek man with sharp teeth stepped in our path, giving a slight nod of his head and a slimy smile towards Pitou.
“Welcome back, honored doctor. Who might our guest be?” He said, looking at me.
Pitou padded closer, smiling, before her hand was placed on his shoulder. A wave of killing intent washed over the man as he tensed up. His eyes were wide and dilated, his body frozen like a mouse helpless before a cat. He broke out in a cold sweat, grunting noises coming from his throat as he tried to speak but found he couldn’t.
“That is for my patient Jabba to know. Is that a problem, Bib?” She asked sweetly, yet it couldn’t hide the malicious aura coming from her that even I could feel. I almost instinctively drew my lightsaber and formed a shadow ball. If I could breathe, it would feel like the air itself had been crushed under the weight of her aura.
In the time it took for Bib to blink, it was gone, and he sucked in a breath of air, feeling relief when the pressure was gone. No one else in the palace seemed to notice what had happened, and only Bib and I had felt the power Pitou commanded.
Bib quickly backed away, hands held out to keep her at bay. Not that it would do anything to stop her if she chose to kill him now. “N-no. You will hear no issue from this humble servant of our master.”
Pitou froze for a second. It was like watching a cat pause before it pounced. “Pitou, calm down,” I said quietly enough that only she could hear me. She relaxed while Bib scurried away from us as Pitou led me into Jabba’s private chambers.
The fat slug sat upon his dais as several gorgeous women catered to him. They were grossed out by Jabba, or to be more accurate, his corpse being puppeteered by Pitou’s new hatsu. They hid it well from anyone who watched them with their eyes, but my Haki could feel the disgust radiating off of them.
In due time their current situation will be rectified along with how things are run on Tatooine and the rest of the outer rim for that matter. Plus, if I were going to have skimpily clad drop dead gorgeous women fawning and attending to me, it’s going to be because they want to. It takes the fun out of it all when they don’t actually find you attractive or want you and are forced to do it.
Jabba’s body looked like he was still alive. Every action he took, from his smile to his pudgy hand gestures, even the slime that came from his mouth with that disgusting tongue, looked just like how he acted from what little I remembered of the movies.
No one even noticed that he had been killed and turned into a puppet by Pitou. Some people watched Pitou, wary of her, but none left. Jabba said something in what I assume was Huttese. A droid by his side translated for him.
“Ah, my esteemed guest, you have finally arrived. We may now get down to business. Everyone, leave my chambers, including my protocol droid…” The droid paused, turning to face Jabba. The droid gargled something back in the Hutt language. It flinched back when Jabba’s tail slammed down onto his dais as he glared menacingly at the droid.
The droid and the others soon left the room, and the only ones left were Jabba’s corpse, Pitou, and me. A glance at Pitou, who had a soft smile, before nodding at me that we were safe to talk.
“You have outdone yourself on this Pitou,” I said, walking over and examining Jabba. He was even more disgusting than various Star Wars media could ever convey through a screen or paper.
“Thank you, master.” She said with a soft smile, bowing to me. A gentle tap on her head made her look up at me.
“I told you not to call me that. Anyways,” I waved it off, getting onto our current business. “So how many resources do we have at our disposal?”
Jabba, through Pitou’s control, gave me the answer. I stumbled back, having a decent idea of how much that was. “Ha ha ha!” I let out a chuckle. This was already proving to be worth all the effort.
My arms snatched out and scooped up Pitou, who smiled while holding me. Despite how strong she was, she hardly weighed anything. I spun around with her as her tail trailed behind her like a streamer.
“You’re the best girl ever, Pitou!” Happiness was infused into each word. My voice even transitioned to my old original one because I was so distracted by the fortune that had all but been handed to me.
Pitou held onto me and laughed alongside me. We twirled around like this for some time before I managed to get myself under control. Jabba was always shown to be wealthier than most Hutts, somehow standing leagues above the others. I can see why. The guy was practically loaded, combined with plenty of underworld contacts, drug operations, smugglers, and other less than savory types at his beck and call.
It explained why nearly every day was a party for him and how he never seemed to go broke. And now all that wealth and connections were mine to use as I saw fit. Setting Pitou down, getting distracted by her outfit yet again, I made myself focus on the plans that had been thought about whenever I had a chance.
I clapped my hands once, getting back to business. “Alright, first thing, and one of the more important things I need you to do, is look into the day two Jedi by the names of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi engaged an enemy on Naboo on the last day of the blockade.”
Pitou nodded, ears twitching as she gave me her utmost attention. “I need you to get the information on what ships took the waste and trash from the palace and where they went.”
She nodded. “Good. The next thing, which is the most important, is I need you to look into and find a means to transfer my mind from this metal piece of garbage body to an organic one. Before I go any further, with what you have managed to learn about this galaxy and what you are capable of, is it possible?”
Pitou tapped her finger against her chin, thinking it over before her eyes lit up with that ever present smile she had, which, when in my presence, grew a fraction. “It is possible, Tobi. But it will take time for me to find a proper method to work with your unique situation. I will devote as much time to give you a body that is worthy of you.”
As she said this, my attention was stolen for a brief moment, looking past her at what looked like a spider-like droid with a glass jar housing a brain of all things walking along the back wall of Jabba’s chambers. Snapping back to Pitou and ignoring whatever creepy droid he had moving about in here.
I nodded as relief flooded through me, knowing that I would once again have a flesh and blood body. Pitou wasn’t the type to lie to me, she was honest on such a level that it was refreshing. When I get a body, I am going to eat till I pass out and enjoy all that this galaxy has to offer.
“For now I will be remaining here to both get many loyal followers amongst the scum that stay in this palace and to train.”
Plan after plan was listed off to her as we discussed, and changes were made to plans as time went on. After that, the days went by with me training my powers. That was after I had Jabba call in several of his subordinates throughout the palace and used my equivalent of the Jedi mind trick to ensure their loyalty while keeping them as close to how they were before they got hypnotized.
Got a couple of rewards for my trouble.

[Spirit Affinity]
Rare Trait
You are talented in the art of everything spirits, spiritual creatures, and objects take a liking to you and soul-based abilities are easier to master
[Musk]
Uncommon Trait
Your smell is really good, a bit arousing even.
[Wind Cloak]
Rare Ability
Allows you to cloak yourself in powerful winds, these winds will assist your movements, making you faster, and swifter and allowing you to dash and float with their help.
The first was somewhat useful. Spirit-based things I can learn faster, which would help with things like Shadow Ball… I think? Never really thought of it as being something spirit-based, but Pokémon were weird, so maybe it did?
The second was just another reminder of what I no longer have. Which will be fixed, so jokes on the one who shoved me into this metal piece of garbage. I’m getting Tobi junior back!
Ignoring the other powers I was going to have to train with and getting a better grasp on them and focusing on all that has transpired on this sandy dustball. The only difference with those in Jabba’s palace now was that they were more loyal, not as lazy, and the abundant corruption amongst Jabba’s ranks had all but been purged.
One of the few I hadn’t used my eyes on yet was Bib. He was Jabba’s right hand man, if he maintained that position for numerous years, then he wouldn’t be an easy target to mind control. Guy had to be like those other people who can resist a Jedi mind trick that wasn’t due to their species.
So for now I was content to keep him under my thumb with my loyal subjects keeping an eye on him, including the ones he had been grooming to help him assassinate Jabba. Apparently, Bib had a not so insignificant deep seated hatred of the slug. According to them, he was concerned Jabba might have grown wise to his treachery and brought in Pitou and then me as a means to keep Bib in his place.
Pitou herself, after taking control of the slug, had used it as directed to give herself the position of Jabba’s head physician. The outfit she wore was something Jabba would have habitually made her wear, and Pitou did because it helped her blend in… and she wasn’t bothered by such a revealing set of clothes. Not that I would complain when I caught myself staring at her. Say what you will about how disgusting Jabba was as a person, but the guy had taste when it came to women and the outfits to accentuate their beauty.
My training was taking priority until the next stage of my plans went through to get my new body, so for now some variations of my powers were being created.
It was night out in the desert with me being some distance from the palace. I wasn’t concerned about those that I mind controlled coming to find out the source of the noise or Bib since he would have his hands full with running the place. I was far enough that most of the noise wouldn’t reach them if they ever heard any. Nor was I concerned for the slaves and servants I didn’t force to serve me.
Those people had suffered enough, and I wasn’t cruel or paranoid enough to do the same to them as I had to the other criminals. As much as I wanted to free them now along with the other slaves across Tatooine, it had to wait until later stages of my plans. When my grip and forces had grown enough to encompass Tatooine, then the people would be freed. Then the rest of the outer rim.
It was long overdue, especially when droids had existed in this galaxy for so long that they would easily make a good substitute for slaves to do the manual work.
My cloaked hand was raised before five marble sized shadow balls took form, far easier than it had in the past. It didn’t take long to make them, around two seconds. Now, it was easily done in the time it took a man to blink. That was for a normal Shadow Ball.
The balls shot off, curving through the air instead of in a straight line. Each one impacted nearby rocks jutting out of the sand. They popped, sending pebbles flying into the sand, leaving behind fist sized chunks in the rock wall. The energy it took to make those smaller shadow balls was inconsequential compared to making a normal sized one.
It was faster to generate them, being nearly instantaneous. The only downside was that the explosive power they packed was far from what a standard shadow ball could do. When I first got this power, it was enough to take out heavily armored Republic walkers. The attack itself was meant to be more of an anti-personnel attack that cost me little energy to use.
Another mental flex and wind began to stir softly at first before becoming strong enough to send sand everywhere. The minor sandstorm eventually subsided as I looked at myself. The wind moved around me like rain on a windshield, yet not a single bit of the wind was touching me.
Every movement felt lighter and had speed far exceeding what I could normally achieve on my own. It was like the wind had stopped impeding me and instead moved aside. I would even go so far as to say it has fully supported me now, where before it was indifferent. A snap and a hiss had the lightsaber ignite.
Oddly enough, the weight of it wasn’t as bad this time around. I chalked it up to me getting used to the weapon since whatever was off about it was negligible at best. The blade and my body went from one form to another, my speed exceeding anything I could have done before on my own using both the cloak of wind and my control over it.
I remained like this, fighting against an enemy in my mind, blade blocking, countering, and shifting from a purely defensive form to a highly acrobatic form using glide, then to something vaguely resembling Dooku’s beloved Makashi. With my own understanding and skill with a blade combined with witnessing both Luminara and particularly Ventress and the boost I was getting from training, my skill was growing.
The forms were incomplete, but I was able to cover some of the flaws and compensate for what they lacked. Ventress's style was unique compared to her master's pure form. What I remembered of Dooku’s preferred form and what I saw of Ventress' style is that his form could not generate momentum in a fight. It’s what made her version unique in that she could, whereas Dooku’s couldn’t. Whether she did it on purpose to cover for that weakness or just preferred it that way was anyone’s guess.
The form being created was a hybrid between the defensive style I had developed and what Luminara had shown, combined with the efficiency and offensive capabilities of Makashi. It will not be the only form I use or develop, but as things stand, I need to remain defensive while chipping away at my enemy's defenses. At least until my new body is acquired, then I could prioritize offense.
Another swing, and the blade moved far slower. Still fast enough to take someone’s head off, and they wouldn’t realize they had been beheaded, but slow enough that someone like Ventres could handle it. Dropping the wind with it dissipating into a gentle breeze as I walked over to a portable battery, Pitou had been kind enough to get me.
I wasn’t concerned about any danger finding its way to me. If somehow I was completely drained of juice or was incapable of fighting, Pitou would know and come to my rescue. It was a surprise to learn how powerful her senses were. I hadn’t watched all of the series she originated from, but I knew she was powerful. Probably at the time one of the strongest characters in her universe.
Even as far from the palace as I was, she knew my exact position and what state I was in. It was kind of scary when she listed off every action I was doing to prove it to me when she didn’t even have line of sight.
Charging back up to begin the next set of training, I notice a new reward.
You created a hybrid form of Makashi and Soresu! One silver ticket. Use now? Y/N
[Detonation]
Rare Ability
Allows you to charge any item you are holding with explosive energy that you can detonate at any time, turning them into what are essentially time bombs. The explosive energy fades over time. The more energy you expend, the stronger the explosion.
Art is an explosion indeed! Even if it consumed too much energy that I lacked to destroy a building, it could still prove useful. A handful of sand was held in my metal palm before it was saturated with energy. The sand grains were swelling with it even if I didn’t feel much of a drain before throwing them into the air. Each grain detonated in brilliant flashes with what sounded like gunshots accompanying them.
That would prove rather effective if I ever needed to go glassed earth if I was in dire straits. What I have so far will help me survive. Plus, as intelligent as Pitou is, it shouldn’t take her long to figure out a means to get me a flesh and blood body. Once that happens, the powers that weren’t usable that I had gained up until this point would be at my disposal.
While Pitou had shown me her progress on the goal, having found individuals interested in what she was up to, she began to make swift progress. Not that she hadn’t been making great strides in her research and understanding, but the ones she had been talking to had expedited the process significantly.
After having made my way back to the palace, I was greeted by the sight of a simple, unassuming man in monk-like robes with very little adorning his person, who looked at me before going back to jabbing his hand with a small needle. He winced each time he did it while one of those spider-like droids with a brain inside it stayed near him.
The B’omarr monks. Never knew about them nor heard of them through any Star Wars media. Not that I got too much into that stuff beyond the movies and the few animated shows they had. They were the ones Pitou had been talking to when I guess they took an interest in what Pitou was attempting.
The guys were weird. They were more like a variation of those Hindu monks who give up all worldly possessions and try to become one with the universe. The B’omarr were more wanting to learn and contemplate the secrets of the universe than become one with it.
One such thing they do is to ignore outside distractions such as bodily needs. It’s why the acolyte was stabbing himself with a needle, they are supposed to be capable of ignoring and shrugging off pain since it was a distraction. They achieve higher ranks when they begin to understand the universe, as they call it enlightenment, as they reach higher ranks. Eventually, when they achieve enlightenment, they go through a process that leads to the other monks’ state.
Nothing but a brain in a jar. All distractions are gone, and only the silent contemplation of the universe and its secrets… whatever the hell that is supposed to even mean. Despite how crazy and absurd that is, Pitou and I had cut a deal with them. The monks had long since grown tired of Jabba ruling over what was their monastery.
They are aware of me taking over, my current nature, and that I want to have an organic body. Something they are willing to help with. Part of the deal was helping them regain control of their monastery, which has already unofficially occurred.
The other part of the deal was that they wanted to study my current body, see if there was anything they could glean from it to help their newer acolytes acclimate to their ways more easily and have fewer distractions. I was kind of tempted to just destroy this body once I was out of it. Not to hide any secrets from them. It was more out of an act of mercy for the poor fools who decided to deprive themselves of life’s great gifts.
Gifts that I had taken for granted all my life. Something that won’t happen as soon as I regain a body. Sensing a level of resentment, fear, and jealousy nearing me, I continued forward unwavering as the figure rounded the corner that was the source of those feelings.
Observation Haki has grown quite a bit since I first got it, with me being capable of sensing and picking out individuals. Even sensing intent to an extent with it. My range was nowhere near as good as Pitou’s, but in time, I may surpass her.
The figure who stood in my path was none other than Bib Fortuna, Jabba’s Majordomo. The Twi’lek had white skin and orange eyes that made him look sickly. He gave me a smile that was meant to be reassuring but appeared more sleazy than anything.
“I have been trying to get in contact with you for some time, my friend.” He flashed his razor-sharp teeth that made him look like a leech. “You are a rather hard person to find in Jabba’s palace.”
I noted the two criminals who flanked him. They looked calm, but they were worried and had fear coming from them.
I shrugged my arms using Obito’s voice. “I am a rather busy man. Things to do, important people to talk to.” I said about to brush past him only for one of the men to place his hand on his blaster.
“Well, I am an important person,” Bib said, showing his teeth again, his face taking on a dangerous edge to it. “So why do you insult me so?”
He paced back and forth like a wolf waiting for an opening. “Could it be you wish to usurp my position? Or because you have Jabba’s interest for now? I can assure you from personal experience, he is fickle at the best of times, and you will lose favor with him. Instead… why not work for me?” He gestured to himself.
This guy needed to work on his delivery because, if anything, I felt like I would get a knife in my back for my troubles if I so much as even shook his hand.
“I could offer you protection, even assist in keeping you safe from our new compatriot, the good doctor.” He had his hand extended towards me in an offer with a greasy smile that turned stiff as he and the other two froze on the spot.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear. In this case, she will. Pitou’s chuckle came from behind them as the three didn’t even know she had been there. The two guards definitely weren’t from the palace, otherwise, they wouldn’t have helped Bib. The man must have realized all those he had gained as a support base were now compromised and no longer on his side after I pulled my stunt. One of the guards pulled out his blaster pistol, aiming it at Pitou.
She wore a gold and purple Arabian-style dress that showed plenty of skin. It showed how little of a threat I viewed the three when I was lamenting my lack of genitalia and not the fact that I have three people acting intimidating, one of whom is trying to strong arm me.
Bib himself wasn’t even aware Pitou wasn’t the mastermind that had taken control, nor, to my knowledge, even aware Jabba is under our control. He just knows that he has lost whatever people would support him and were under his control. He is flailing blindly in the dark, alone and afraid, thinking someone is aiming for his position or to remove him for good.
Pitou calmly walked forward, unfazed by the blaster aimed at her head, as she simply smiled chillingly at the man who narrowed his eyes and let out a shaky breath. “Bib, you didn’t tell me or Jabba that we had guests!”
Pitou’s voice was at odds with the dark hallway and the tension that grew thicker by the second. Despite how her aura wasn’t leaking out, even I felt a chill run down my metal spine. It was the most I had felt from a physical feeling since I got here. Pitou was upset, about what exactly, I had no idea. She had no issue keeping Bib around when we discussed the topic.
Bib gave a nervous smile, fear growing in him as he had shown through Haki every time Pitou was in the same room as him. But this time it was like a biblical flood made up of fear. It was surprising he hadn’t pissed himself. I know I would have if I had a bladder.
“They just arrived today.” He tried to shrug, but it came off more like he was about to have a seizure. The third guy was wary, like a cornered rat, he was looking around for a way out. “They were eager to meet our friend here.”
He gestured towards me. “And they have met me now,” I said, forcing myself to walk past them without missing a step because of my being afraid. Pitou’s tail flicked from side to side as her glowing eyes stared into the man who held a blaster pistol at her. “You all may leave.” My hand gently tapped on Pitou’s shoulder. Her gaze remained fixed on the man who didn’t know whether he should fight or run for his life.
Her hand brushed against mine, passing through the cloak like it wasn’t even there, giving me a gentle squeeze. Pitou was acting stranger than normal. I know I couldn’t compare her to a human or any other species in this universe or my own. But I still applied human traits to her even when I shouldn’t. She could talk and had feelings, however different they were from my own.
It was almost like she was upset. But it went beyond that. Bib had tried to speak with me, but I kept my distance after Jabba publicly announced me as a new member of his new inner circle, which he was creating. Even when he tried to corner me in the past and failed, Pitou never got upset like this.
I walked further down the hall, Haki telling me all that I needed to know. The three scurried away after Pitou said something to the man with the blaster pistol whose emotions turned from fear into something far darker and heavier. Depression? No. It was more like that feeling someone gets when something brings up dark, foreboding feelings, making you realize an ill omen was just on the horizon.
Dread.
Pitou remained there for a brief moment before she, in an impressive burst of speed disappeared one moment and the next she was right beside me as if she had always been there.
“I beg for your forgiveness, your majesty.” She bowed deeply while walking with me. I turned to tell her yet again not to call me that, only to pause at the sight of her chest hanging at an angle I could see as they swayed and jiggled with each step. Are… are they bigger?
Taking on the gargantuan task of forcing myself to look away and questioning if they had gotten bigger as I addressed Pitou. It was made easier by the fact that whatever happened there needed to be addressed. “Pitou, you don’t need to apologize for anything. You handled the threat for me, just as I knew you would.”
I waved her off, not upset at her for what happened. She had it handled, and if she didn't, then I would have dealt with him. Which, after what just happened, was going to be soon. The guy must be getting desperate if he thought that strong-arming me to his side against Pitou and Jabba was a good idea.
She snapped right back up, and I had to ignore the jiggling of her chest to focus on her intense gaze. “I should have been there as soon as they began to get near you.”
“Pitou, I could have handled them, and I was never in any danger. Let it go. What made you so upset?”
She turned her face away from me for a brief moment, sadness coming through my haki as her expression was hidden in shadow. “Is it something personal?”
“If… you truly wish to know, I can tell you?” She said, for once sounding hesitant. The confidence or assuredness she always had was gone. In its place was hesitation, as if she were unsure if she wanted me to know.
I stopped, as did she. “Do you want to tell me?”
She finally looked up at me, ears drooping, all the playfulness she normally had, now gone. She opened and closed her mouth. My hand gently found itself on her shoulder, snapping her out of it as her eyes widened.
“Pitou, you have your reasons, and I won’t force you to tell me what they are. I am no king, as I have told you several times, but even I know that isn’t how a leader should be. When you are ready, you can tell me why you acted that way. But for now, please don’t overreact like that. Alright?” Both hands are now on her shoulders.
She stared at me with a series of complex emotions flitting across her face, each like grains of sand amidst a sandstorm. She finally snapped out of it and nodded her head, ears perking up, that ever present playful smile returning in full force. “Alright.”
I think Pitou was beginning to become best girl… ever.
