If you were fan of the short sketch image project that ran for Solarion Project subscribers known as the "Alternate Universe" this is the page for you!

The Alternate Universe was part of the on-going sketch rewards that Space Rangers & Space Pimps of the Solarion Project subscribestar get access to. It was a non-canon series (like the Captain Meets & Captain's Clubhouse sketch series) featuring smaller aliens gangbanging NPCs from the game. I spent some extra time setting it up in RPG Maker to give some context and sound effects and even paid for some of the pieces to go beyond the sketch and fully coloured (and in Kittenna's case getting them animated too). This led to some people assuming it was going to be a full length game project, which was never the intention.
After a quick polling on the subscribestar page, it seems there is a lot of interesting in getting the sketches from this project, coloured and animated! So here we are!
FAQ:
How is this going to work? What am I supporting?
You are supporting turning this sketch series into a fully fledged mini project! In more detail, the funding collected from here is going straight to an artist to colour and then to the animator to animate. Then it will be case of adding those coloured images and animations into the project. Since we have a set path in mind, goals will be based on support generated, rather than a set monthly amount. So you'll know when we've unlocked something new!
Won't this take away from your time on the Solarion Project?
I wouldn't say "not at all", but it's going to be extremely minimal impact. The dialogue is already done, the project is already setup. My part (Charon) in this will just be copying over previous images and adding in the new animations (no coding or new dialogue required.) This will likely be a couple of hours work to do at most for each character we get complete.
Additionally I'll hire a separate artist to do the colouring so that Witchking (the original project's artist) isn't distracted by this either. I've attached some samples of this artist's work so far, so you can gauge for yourself.
How often will there be updates?
It depends entirely on support! Unfortunately I am unable to apply my own funds to this project (like I did for Kittenna). But you'll be able to see progress based on the goal %, and I'll have another pinned post with a tracker which will show the current stage we're out.
Will there be new content outside of what is already in the project?
Unlikely, as any new content will take time away from myself and Witchking, but never say never. It really depends on support and such and how much time we may able to dedicate. It's a discussion that can had after everything else has been done first.
Kittenna's scenes were voice acted, will the rest be voice acted too?
It's possible. The current focus will be on artwork and animation, but after that? If that is something people would like to see (or hear rather) then we can certainly make that another funding goal!
What rewards can I expect for subscribing?
Supporters of any level can expect to receive the build when it becomes available. Higher tiers will gain access to voting options (like character priority). Due to the nature of this project, the focus won't be on delivering new fresh rewards, but delivering on making this side sketch project into its own thing. If it is something you wish to see, then support today and help us reach our first goal! Higher tier subscribers will also receive a permanent access key, so that any future builds will become available to you even if you aren't subscribed (as a way of saying thank you for contributing to the project!)

Right now! (Or as soon as the Subscribestar has been verified.) The moment we hit our first goal, I'll start the cogs in motion to get the necessary work done, and once complete, it will be added into the project and released to you, ASAP.

Well this page isn't for you, that's for sure, so feel free to forget it even exists. This a simple non-canon project that Space Pimps (the highest level of support on The Solarion Project) wanted to see. It doesn't effect the main game in any way, shape or form. After polling on the main project page it seems there is great interest in taking it even further.
