2025 Year in Review

It's been a busy year!

By my estimation, I've released 547 pages of art this year (give or take a few a might have missed while counting). And that's not including censored pages or minor alt versions UwU

That number is the result of ~112 different commissions of varying sizes, and ~117 monthly doodles for supporters :3 And that's not all that happened: I also experimented with new commission formats like the YCH booster cards and Funding the Forest, did a bunch of free YCHs to protest NSFW censorship (which is sadly still going strong ><), launched a supporter gallery and a new commission website, got content warnings working on Subscribestar, wrote 6 different stories, open sourced some stuff, finished a preview build for a vore game ... awawwawawa :3 It's been a lot X3

My big goal for 2025 was to get my income to sustainable levels where I can confidently continue doing all this full time. I'm close but not quite there. So at least for the start of 2026 I'm going to be focusing a lot on income: getting suggestions about what new formats I can offer, trying to expand my pool of commissioners, and making the Subscribestar more attractive. I'll have some more detailed surveys, but some of the immediate things I'm planning to experiment with are:

For Subscribestar (you're here) :3

More occasional Subscribestar exclusives like illustrated/expanded versions of public stories or alts
Setting up a better advertising system (possibly modifying postybirb to add a link to the bottom of pieces that I upload)
Expanding and releasing more builds of The Jungle, a text-adventure vore game that I've started working on
Potentially including bonus supporter-exclusive descriptions and lewd accompanying paragraphs for some pieces

For Commissioners:

I want to keep experimenting with the lower-cost YCH cards. They didn't see a ton of uptake, but I still feel like the idea is good X3
I'm going to focus on expanding my client pool by looking for niche vore communities that I can start to accommodate alongside my normal stuff. My niche art genres tend to be my most profitable for commissioning - bladder vore, disposal, graphic digestion, etc.. there are likely other under-served communities that I could be working with.
To that end, I'm also going to be experimenting with a referral system soon - if you refer a new commissioner, you'll both get either free art or discounts on your commissions.

Increasing the number of reliable commissions I get is likely the most straightforward way to get my income past the final hurdle to a sustainable level. I have plenty of bandwidth to take on more pieces, and I really enjoy working with commissioners (and I think they enjoy working with me :3). If you know anypony you think would be interested, feel free to send 'em over; I won't bite X3

For Original Works:

I'm going to keep experimenting with the Funding the Forest crowdfunding campaigns, and seeing what I can do to make them more accessible and interesting to potential backers.

I know a lot of critters follow me specifically for the Forest (and occasionally for comics like Max the Eevee). Original works are where I get to be at my most creative and experimental, and where the most of my style and approach to vore shines through. Unfortunately, they're also the pieces that are most difficult to fund. That's gotten better over the past year, and I'm really excited about the comics I have been able to fund and release, but there's still a lot for me to experiment with. If you're invested in my original stories, those goals are the best way to get me to write and draw more comics with original characters <3
