October 2025 Update

The new subscriber comic Undercover Stripper has started running this month and promises to be a fun concept to explore.  While initially I struggled to come up with a satisfying story around the pinup, I soon figured out a few key story elements and twists around the core concept of an FBI agent trapped in her undercover identity that I think will be very intriguing.  

The problem then became how to squeeze a long timeline of transformation into a shorter form comic that can focus on just the fun and interesting moments. I want to avoid giving any big spoilers for this comic, but the solution I felt good about is partially telling the story through her periodic contact with her FBI handler so there is a natural way to skip forward to see how being trapped in the club is changing her.  

While I said previously I wanted to try to skip longer intro scenes and jump straight into the action instead, a story like this really needs to set up the character first in order to show her transformation. I think the role play test in the office accomplishes that while still jumping straight into the action.  

Even still, to do the full story arc justice, I think it needs to be told over 3 chapters of 25-30 pages each.  The rough outline for Chapter 1 is around 27 pages right now and will come out over 5 months or so, and then I'll poll what comic to do next and figure out how best to complete the story, either as another subscriber comic in the future or potentially additional standalone releases.

Speaking of standalone releases, BT2 is still progressing well. As expected, I was only able to get up to page 15 this month due to the work on UC1, but I'm expecting to get a lot of extra pages done over the holiday season.  

Another random tidbit, while creating the UC cover, I figured out a new way to quickly and easily create custom chains for every panel, which opens up some new opportunities for more elaborate restraints in the future.
