Important Announcement – Change of Direction for Development

Hey everyone,
I know this news might disappoint many of you, but I believe it’s important for me to keep my motivation alive if I want to deliver the best work I can. With that in mind, I’ve made an important decision regarding Lust & Farm. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to put this project on hold to focus on a new game: Lust & War.
There are several reasons behind this decision:
  • Motivation for Lust & Farm has dropped over time. The project started going in too many directions, which made it hard to pick up again after each break.
  • Personal issues have been piling up lately, which completely stalled development.
  • And finally, Lust & Farm ended up leaning heavily into being a pure visual novel. It was a good starting point for a first project, but now I have different goals and ambitions.
With Lust & War, I’m starting completely fresh in Unreal Engine, which will let me build on solid foundations:
  • Fewer bugs to deal with (though there will still be some, let’s be realistic).
  • A more stable Android version, planned from the very beginning to work smoothly throughout development (no promises though, better to stay cautious).
  • Real gameplay focused on management and combat, with a much lighter narrative side.
  • Animated and interactive scenes, similar to Lust & Farm, but with more ways to interact and less time spent “shooting” each scene.
  • And most importantly, more focus on actual game design, creating a richer and more dynamic experience.
Now, a few words about what Lust & War actually is.
It won’t be a visual novel. Instead, it’s a mix of management, action, and RPG elements.
In a dark medieval fantasy world, you take the role of a warlord of the Black Lands, a region where demons and monsters reign. The people of these lands thirst for conquest, and your father, the Emperor, turns to you to lead the charge.
Recently appointed commander of the eastern armies, your mission is to conquer city after city, defeating anyone who dares to stand in your way.
Main features planned:
  • Army management through key resources (iron, wood, gold).
  • A duel system against enemy heroines: when a city falls, a heroine will challenge you. Defeating her allows you to capture her.
  • Once captured, a heroine can be seduced or tortured – the choice is yours.
  • Heroines may bear children carrying your bloodline, granting significant bonuses to your army.
  • You won’t only interact with heroines – the imperial family of the Black Lands will also play an important role.
  • You’re the emperor’s son and future heir to the Black Lands… if all goes well.
Here we can see a rough draft of the combat system — the interface shows the spells, the shield bar, stamina bar, and health bar.
The imperial family: Myrre the bastard, Jezebeth, Talmor, Gehena (his and her mother), and Almeera, their pure-blooded daughter.
Here are the MC’s two aides-de-camp: Tan, the goblin quartermaster, and Lizzie, the maid.
The first two upcoming heroines ! Syla, the elven priestess, and Nemura, the human warrior.
The first test build will likely contain limited content, but more will come over time as the project grows.
To be clear, Lust & Farm isn’t entirely abandoned, but the chances of me going back to it are pretty slim. And there’s absolutely no chance I’ll be working on two games in parallel.
Thank you all for your support from the very beginning, and I hope you’ll follow me on this new adventure !
