Progress Report #167 - June 2025

Greetings o/

The void never sleeps, and neither do we (well, maybe a little). Here’s a look at what we’ve been working on lately across all departments 👀

----🎨----

The Egg-Laying scene is in final polishing stage, touching up some of the more intimate details and prepping all assets for clean in-game implementation.

Additionally, the Egg Laying Plant just received its own dedicated map sprite as well! Alongside that, a custom elevator sprite is also being designed for Henosis's Residential zones to add that extra ease to the daily traversal~

Caly’s new standing art, based on the fan-voted design from the June 9th this week, is nearly complete! Just a bit more rendering and she’ll be ready to strut her stuff 🍑

Lastly, a special art piece is in the works to celebrate a collaboration with Shygoth Streaming!Stay tuned for more details on that!

A new Dinner Scene has been fully outlined, with character appearances and narrative beats all mapped out. It’ll be a treat to see some familiar (and possibly dramatic) faces return to Caly’s orbit for a fun evening.

With the votes finally in, we’re now in the early concept phase for the next Comic Update as well, laying down the foundations for what awaits Caly at her next destination.

Exhibition Mode scripting is officially complete! With the core logic locked in, we're now focusing on finding any buggy kinks and ejecting them post haste.

NPCs tied to Exhibition Mode are being placed across the different zones of Henosis, bringing more variety and flavor to how locals interact with this spicy new mechanic 👐

The Egg-Laying scenario is also being implemented into the game proper, bringing together all those final art touches and dialogue pieces into a functional (and wiggly) experience.
