February | Blog -Adjustments to Public Source Files and Hard/Nightmare-
I mentioned this earlier in the month, but starting next month, all old public source files will be put in their own $2+ posts, and future files that are overdue will be available publicly for 1 week before being paywalled. If you were a Super Hard/Nightmare subscriber and managed to not download the source file for your request in that 1 week window, DM me and I'll hand it over. I typically have those posts tagged with SourceFiles or in the SourceFiles collection, so they should be easy to find.
I've also started uploading source files that have non-public edits more often. The quality varies wildly, as I was letting my insomnia demon guide my hand for some quick debauchery. Due to the amount of edits they sometimes contain, I only post the source file for my convenience, so you'll need a program that can open .psd or .csp/.kra (the .psd might export weirdly due to the layer count, but I have no idea) and have some slight knowledge of how to hide/view layers. I try to clean it up a bit so they are easier to navigate, but some of them are old and organized insanely. If there's an old image you want me to upload the source to, let me know (it might even have edits). For now, I am uploading in a chaotic order when I feel like it.
Super Hard/Nightmare Adjustments:
For the Super Hard/Nightmare tiers, I'm allowing an option that lets you request something I would consider "over budget" if you provide an additional pledge (or if you want it to be private). Typically this will be around ~$5+- (Private would be a flat $5). In the future, I'll try to make a visual guide to what I would consider "over budget" for consistency's sake and convenience. For now, imagine that certain "busy" things are fine to a degree (to not be "over budget") as long as I don't have to add extra modifications (typically from specific types of inanimate TFs).
Extra Super Hard / Nightmare Slots:
Earlier in the month, I had a "test run" for extra limited slots. I got at least one response, so I'll try it again next month at the start of the month and add a "Super Nightmare" option as well (I'll contact the responder after I manage to finish the last of the requests for the month). These are for an attempt at hitting the $150 threshold (approximately $185 adjusted for fees and errors) monthly so I can withdraw money more often. The tracker is very strange as it says "per month" when it's more like "This month, specifically, including pledges, but also fees are not taken into account".
If you are already in a limited tier, it is fine if you'd like to request another thing, though keep in mind it's not a guarantee that I will select you. I am mostly looking for simpler requests I think I can handle in a short amount of time (mascot shaped creatures are very good for this; please give me more of those).
Health:
My insurance got sorted out, so I can get my infusions again. There is nothing else to mention.
Dad's Health:
Dad came home for a few weeks after his hospital stay; he had an IV put in so we could give him his medication at home. Around last Friday he went back due to a leakage from one of the drainage pouches from the surgery in January. The doctors were supposed to fix the issue on Monday, but due to a bunch of back and forth with the doctors in what I can only assume was a case of bad communication, nothing was done, so they're going to work on it on Tuesday. He was not supposed to take anything by mouth that entire day, but due to the delay it was pointless. This poor communication is probably why his major surgery still isn't scheduled.
Other:
I am absolutely terrible at writing essays.
Thank you for the support.
