
Our Apartment v0.6.1: Stats Implemented and Functional, Auto Save, Other fixes and adjustments...
Hey, peeps sorry it's been such a long time since an update, sadly I missed the end of last month due to some unexpected issues. Lets get into it quickly this time.
v0.6.1 Updates
You might note this is a small version number update, there's no real new content in this build (though some content that was accidentally hidden before is now accessible). As I said before this development period has been about fully integrating the stats and progression systems. This takes quite a few forms.
Impact of stats
This was the biggest challenge, keep in mind these have been implemented but are very unbalanced. They will be balanced over time. Implementation was much harder than adjusting the rates of leveling or the impact of stats will be.

- Story progression is initially driven by "Trust" stat, the game generally gives this out for everything, so progression is steady.
- When a stat levels up or levels down special dialogue events play depending on phase of the day
- Not all stats are visible at the start, I don't think I have them accessible just yet, but you will buy items to reveal the rest of the stats (for now there is a cheat toggle in settings)
- Naomi now has conditional outfits, the pool of outfits changes with story acts and items you buy. Namely "bundles", this will be expanded more with time.
One of Naomis conditional outfits... - Naomi's conditional outfits can also be determined by her stats, in Act 4 a hornier Naomi may wear more appealing clothing. This still needs more configuration tho.
- In Act 4 some events are triggered with Naomi's stats, currently the "blow job training" event requires a certain horniness level to start.
- Sex Sim is now strongly impacted by stats, affecting arousal increments, how much the player can cum, etc. and will affect more with time like dialogue options. This is not implemented to its potential yet. (the toggle in settings will reveal how sex sim values are impacted)
- Certain stats are not able to be leveled up right now, but you may see them gain EXP. Stats like "Openness" are key to unlocking sex sim positions, etc.
Creating Challenge
What I've long had the goal of is Sex Sim being more of a challenge, hence the concept of limiting how much the player can cum. The general goal is cumming together with Naomi but various factors are in tended to make that a challenge. Also for the sake of progressing the game I want sessions to not be as long, more sessions so things can change and things to experiment. Different dialogue, different conclusion scenes, and other factors.
I don't intend to punish players, but instead I want there to be challenge in seeing different results. Along with making progression part of that.
Want a special conclusion scene of Naomi covered in cum? You need a fitness level and a low enough stress so you can cum enough to meet the conditions for such a scene to trigger.
Thats my goal.
For a while I'll include cheats in the settings menu to bypass things like this, but as the game gets closer to final these cheats will not be available by default.

Other changes
There's also other changes...
- The game now autosaves in the first slot
- The scene menu (top left) has had some items consolidated into a "tool box" menu, some functions restored there too
- Sex sim now has additional effects to better indicate certain states, hearts appear when arousal is increased, and the meters will now flash when a character is in their cumming threshold.
Visual Improvements
There's also some visual improvements
- The environment lighting is now overall brighter, I turned up the indirect lighting. A small consequence of this is some older scenes may be too bright now, this will be fixed with time.
- Improvements to appearance of objects that use dithering, STP scaling should now look better. If you're someone who needs to lower the resolution scale you may enjoy this.
Known Issues
Some known issues:
- HDR has been disabled in this release, one of the bugs that held things up was the UI vanishing and it turns out HDR+TAA/STP was the cause. The bug has been reported, hopefully it gets fixed soon.
- Some possible softlocks have been reported, they can be hard to reproduce. That said IF YOU ENCOUNTER A LONG BLACK SCREEN simply wait a bit, there's some fail safes in place.
About Dev
I know this isn't the most exciting of updates but it is crucial, there's not much more to do to get a solid game now. It's really just things that interact with the stats and the animations/poses needed for the scenes.
It took constant work to get all this done I haven't really had a break the last couple months, but I'd like to think I'm done heavily focusing this much on core gameplay stuff for a while.
Just understand this slow period is not without purpose.

What's next
Two major tasks;
- I'm going to do an android build to knock out some configuration stuff there.
- I NEED to tackle input options, making it possible to configure certain inputs like mouse controls and also streamlining some other stuff.
After these two tasks, I'll be back to focusing on content like animations and cinematics. You'll see we now have A LOT of dialogue but nothing to show during them. That on it's own is a big undertaking.

You have been working hard on this project and I do appreciate it. I have seen more progress from you than some of the other creators I have supported even with your real life problems you have getting in the way. As long as you don't turn the support funds into your piggy-bank to have drug fueled parties all the time, I don't mind continuing to support your endeavors to bring wholesome lewdness into the world. (So far 3 "creators" have done this with my backing money before. I was told that was surprising low by a draw friend I know.)

While i do like this "game", i will say i am not interested in the challenge aspect you are putting in. If its gonna be made a challenge to do any of the good stuff, i wont be playing. Maybe others dont care really but for me personally, i dont play games for challenge or anything like that. I would have maybe done so many years ago, but nowadays i just dont have the patience or the attention span required for that. So if and when this ever reaches a point where it can be called stable and complete enough with most or all stuff more or less working good, i will likely find ways to cheat and speed things up.
I used the word "challenge" but it's more like creating reward. There are many different scenes that can happen as a result of different things you do in sex sim. If players have unlimited control they may only trigger certain scenes. Additionally progressing days is important for the game so having exceedingly long single sessions would cause content to be reveled much slower. It's not ideal you do sex sim every day cause other lewd content depends on it.
Adding "challenge" and some limits ensures these things are reasonably seen, it's not exactly intended to be hard to achieve things but there needs to be a impact to doing certain things. Impact of progression, impact of telling Naomi things, impact of gropes, if getting whatever result is trivial why bother? If you can see everything a position has to offer the first time why bother doing it again?
Without challenge there is no reward. It's not to slow things down but to give purpose.
Sorry, but i prefer these days to cheat at most games since, again, i have lil patience and i find it harder to focus on anything for long now than i used to. Im in this becuz i like Naomi's design and the sex scenes arent too bad overall. I also personally prefer Naomi completely nude. None of the outfits really interest me personally. Ive gone through what you have in this game so far but meh. She still looks a lot better naked and frankly, it might be a slightly amusing route to allow for her to decide to just go permanude depending on choices you make. i look forward to seeing this when it is complete
Hard to say if that will happen but that's why the toggle for disabling random clothing is there XD. There may come a time when the cheat menu is hidden but it will always be accessible in some form.
