What's Next?
Hi, everyone and thanks for joining me for today's public update.
Supporters, apologies for the lack of Monday update, things are on the busy side again, and it's messing with my ambition to have the mini-update ready at the end of this month, but we'll see how the rest of the week goes!
There's one more scene to make and then some testing, tweaking and other stuff before the supporter release, with the public release following a couple of weeks after that.
Which brings us to the future! The next major Missy update will be 0.9 and right now the School Council is voting on which of the numerous upcoming quests will be going into the game next. It's an exciting contest, so today, let's have a look at where we're up to!
This time round, we have run a series of "primaries" the last of which is finishing on Friday, when we'll be running the grand final. We know what two of the options are already!In round one, a new quest Founder's Day, a story in which Karen rents out the spare room to a couple from out of town beat off competition from other new options, the second part of the wrestling story and the seventh chapter of the main storyline in which the slavers return.
In the second round, three relationship quests went head-to-head, but in the end, Jessica carried the day, seeing off Becky and Miss Paris.
Round three sees three returning options, Slave to Love, a quest in which Karen buys a slave for the house, It's Just a Phase, in which Missy will have to "persuade" a straight girl from the outside world that life in Sapphory isn't so bad, and of course Too Much Love can Kill you, in which Emily is arrested and Missy must help her. Although the poll is still ongoing, I don't think I'm prejudicing it by saying that it's currently looking like a landslide for Slave to Love, meaning that's our most likely third option.
So the stage is set for an amazing grand final! Will 0.9 see the new quest win on its first outing, Jessica's long-awaited relationship quest finally be realised or Slave to Love come out on top at last? Only by joining the Council or Nobility can you help answer this question!
Some have asked where the Poppy option is, and while I'm aware that she remains a very popular character, we're kind of back where we were after I did the first part of her story, that it's too early yet for me to make the next part, but she will continue to get new side content. At this point though there may need to be different options depending on whether or not she came out on top in Avenging Angel. Maybe we'll see how a defeated Poppy is working to root out the spy in her ranks, or a victorious Poppy is flexing her muscles. A couple of the 4k packs (available to Prefect and above) have explored scenarios of her dominating Angel and those are always well liked!
But I'm rambling on now. I hope you are happy with this update on what's going on and ready for more hot lesbian action in the mini-update!
