Development Plans For Builds 0.5 -> 0.6 (May 2024)


Hi everyone ^_^

It has been a while since I've done a bit of a project overview kind of post, so I wanted to kind of sum up what the upcoming plans are in a more general sense. Mostly, the 2023 schedule still holds, just with a few minor alterations in terms of what comes first, and a few new additions. This post will go over some of the bigger touch-stones I want to get sorted for me to consider 0.5 to be finished, and what I want to do in the 0.6 builds.

As with any plan, it may change, and there may be things missed out. It also only covers what I consider the major milestones of the respective chunks of content, with an emphasis on mechanics and not story elements. So, if you don't see something you're expecting or looking forward to, then don't worry too much.

Build 0.5 Overview

By this point, we're pretty far into the 0.5 builds, but there's still a little way to go. In general 0.5 was about getting the school and home (both the roommates and general house system) content into a decent state. There's still things that are needed for both, but the core mechanics of the two are in place, and they are generally in a state where it's easy to extend them further in the future. As such, the main elements left to complete for the 0.5 builds are related to the school and are as follows.
  • School Interrupts - Almost finished, we just have; bimbo scenes, sex addiction scenes, and cum drinking addiction scenes.
  • School Misc - Again, almost finished, just some school toilets and vending machine scenes left to work on.
  • School Detention - Each teacher can take on running detention, so there's a need to create a couple of potential scenes for each, along with a bit of core code to string it all together.
  • Athletic Students - The missing athlete students will arrive in a narrative encounter, after which they'll become their own faction in the school which the player will be able to hang out with. They'll also appear in various school scenes in general.
  • Delinquent Students Stage 2 - A few more delinquent students who have been skipping school will also arrive in a narrative encounter, after which they'll be seen hanging out with the delinquents and in various school scenes.
  • Popular Students Stage 2 - The final students, who have transferred from another slave school, will arrive in a narrative encounter, after which they'll be seen hanging out with the their respective popular groups (one girl and one guy) and in various school scenes. 

After these sections of content are complete I'll be happy to move from the 0.5 builds to the 0.6 builds.

Build 0.6 Overview


The next major focus of development after the school and home content in the 0.5 builds, 0.6 will concentrate on finishing off the central mechanics of the game, user interface updates, and content that pushes the player towards content. 

In terms of game mechanics, the big new ones will be: hunger/thirst, custom slaves (catching, training, selling, and buying), hireable maids, more furry transformations, a better style detection system, an update to the underwear system, tattoos, socks/tights/stockings, shoes, and custom character backgrounds (so you can pick and choose bonuses).
  • Hunger/Thirst - A simple system which will be deactivatable and automatable, it's another way to remove money from the player, and to push them towards various pieces of transformation and punishment content.
  • Custom Slaves (catching, training, selling, and buying) - Originally intended for 0.5, custom slaves will be randomly generated character which players will be able to train and customise further. Not only will it be a fun new way to make money in-game, I think it'll be a nice new attempt at doing some more player dominant content.
  • Hireable maids - Another piece of slightly delayed content, hireable maids are tied into the home cleanliness system, but will also have fun interactions with the player.  
  • Better Furry Transformations - Simply, I want to add in more transformations, especially for things like muzzles and other more furry traits that currently aren't covered by the game.
  • Updated Style Detection System - Again, a simple one, I want to separate out the style detection system to not just be makeup but also clothing and accessories.
  • Updated Underwear System - Slightly delayed as it was meant to come with the clothing system update, underwear will also have a tags system that lets it be filtered in the wardrobe (and will let me do some things easier when it comes to underwear in scenes).
  • Tattoos - Much like the piercings content, tattoos will be fun things to customize your character and potential humiliating additions from certain punishment scenes and Trainers.
  • Socks/Tights/Stockings - Basically just a leg wear slot for clothing, as this is something I've had requests for since early development. 
  • Shoes - Something else I've had requests for since early development, high heels will tie into the heels skill that's currently in the game but unable to be interacted with.
  • Custom Character Backgrounds - I get lots of suggestions for player backgrounds, and to deal with this I wanted to create a system where players can create their own character background in-game, customizing the skills gained, the extra bonuses gained, and the description.

In terms of interface updates: a better character avatar system (both an updated version of the current one and an alternate by the character artist of the project), an updated quests page, an updated skills & traits page, a better options page, better looking work/training/dating selection page, roommate overview page, room overview page, quest info boxes, item added info boxes. Finally, perhaps most excitingly, a right side panel (that can come out or be hidden) which will show; the character avatar, hunger/thirst, a tracked quest, current daily task (from Trainers or punishments), and the current style description of the player.
  • Updated Character Avatar System - For over a year I've been sitting on an update to the character avatar image system which would feature full-colour and lots of new pieces. I'm also in the works of having a separate character avatar image system created by the main character artist of the game, so players will be able to pick between the two (or adding a custom image to the game). 
  • Updated Quests Page - Currently the quests page is a bit of a mess, I want to make it easier to use and more visually appealing.
  • Updated Skills & Traits Page - Currently the skills & traits page is also a bit of a mess, I want to make it easier to use and more visually appealing. 
  • Updated Options Page - As above, I want to make the options page more usable and better looking too.
  • Better Looking Work/Training/Dating Selection Page - The work/training/dating selection page from the in-room tablet is quiet basic and not very visually appealing, so I want to update that to have some more images and a better general layout.
  • Roommate Overview Page - For making it easier to understand where all your roommates are sleeping, what tasks they have, if they're happy, and if not what they want, I want to create a page to overview those details.
  • Room Overview Page - A quick overview page which explains what benefits your various home rooms are giving, the furniture slots they have and what is filling them, and the current cosmetics applied to them.
  • Quest Info Boxes - Another info box like the skill exp ones, the quest info boxes would tell you when you've gained, updated, or finished a quest.
  • Item Added Info Boxes - Yet another info box, this time to tell you if you've been given something.
  • Right Side Panel - Another piece of interface, especially useful for PC players who have a lot of empty screen space. This will be retractable so it can be left hidden for mobile players (or those that just don't want it), and it will show various other pieces of information that might be handy for the player to regularly see. Mainly the plans are for it to show; the character avatar, hunger/thirst, a tracked quest, current daily task (from Trainers or punishments), and the current style description of the player.

In terms of content that pushes the player towards other content; a big update to the punishment system of the game, more content for the Fem/Sissy Trainer, a rework of the Adult Trainer, a rework of the Pet-Play Trainer, a Slave/Submissive Trainer.
  • Updated Punishment System - The punishment system within the facility will be massively expanded, both in terms of what it covers, and ways that you can get in trouble. Punishments will instead by handled by some characters who will give the player mounting penalties, sometimes with choices between what happens to them. This can be anything from transformations, to punishment conditions like cum addiction, to being made to attend specific jobs/training, or even being assigned a Trainer. Of course, this will also be decided based on the players selected settings. There will also be a set of difficulty options that ensure regular punishments.
  • Continued Fem/Sissy Trainer - Despite being the most fleshed out Trainer currently, the Fem/Sissy Trainer will see continued content going to the end of the story paths and beyond. In particular there will be a task system and a rules system put in place that is somewhat randomised to give the player more replayability.
  • Rework Of The Adult Trainer - Something that has been in my mind for quiet a while, the Adult Trainer will also be getting a rework, expanding the content into a branching set of paths with a second Trainer to choose between, an expansion of the task system and a rules system, all coming along with a branching narrative.
  • Rework Of The Pet-Play Trainer - Again, something that has been in my mind for a long time, the Pet-Play Trainer also be getting a rework, expanding the content into a branching set of paths with a second Trainer to choose between, getting a task system and a rules system, all coming along with a branching narrative. There will also be a big expansion on the types of pet the player can select to be trained like, including; kitten, puppy, pony, bunny, fox, otter, pig, and cow.
  • Slave/Submissive Trainer - A game addition that was meant to arrive many years ago, the Slave/Submissive Trainer is the intended base game Trainer option for the facility (that will be the recommended first playthrough option when added). There will be two trainers, a male and female option, along with a branching narrative, a task system, a rules system, and lots of excuses for the player to be pushed into naughty fun.
