Good evening everyone,
Sephra here to let you know how we've been getting on with things lately!
Tib has been hard at work since the new year putting things together to make the game an actual, you know, thing with enemies and a playable thing that's fun in its own right (we sincerely hope anyway) and to that effect they've been working on the enemy's AI primarily, which is pretty much the last major piece of the puzzle to go into making this a full fledged game rather than a stroll through the levels, moody and dank as they are I think some threat and combat and traps and such will make for a much better experience.
I've been working on animations myself, some more music to put into various parts of the game (I bought an FM8 VST for my FL Studio 2, for everyone who's aware of that jargon) because it's been that sort of time, and of course some asset making too to go along with the level redesign; there's going to be a lot of different areas to the first level by the end of it, much more populated with secrets and corridors to other places in an attempt at a Metroid-y sort of experience (through the lens of someone who's never been that good at them, before anyone gets worried about platforming) but with more of a slow pace and slightly less ridiculous clothing.
That also means in addition to elevator platforms to give some nice vertical options for the map making we'll also be putting ladders in too! No memeworthy MGS3 ladders, unless I get vindictive for one of the secrets maybe, but the plan is to give a fairly generous amount of movement to the player so we can make the exploration fun; lot of characters stashed in remote locations is my thinking, doing lord knows what, or even some actual benefits to Amber like health packs, upgrades, nothing too heavy but something we hope will be fun even without the main attraction xD


Along with that we're going to have some proper stairs animations too with luck so travelling around should hopefully look fairly nice to do at the very least:


Might work on that one a bit more now I look at it again but still you get the idea.
Also, for those of you that have stuck around this far, a preview of one of the larger sized animations I've been getting into of late:

She may look stunned at the moment, alone, and appearing to have underwear on, but these inaccuracies will be taken out when the actual version surfaces; same with the clothing too, something we'll be hopefully doing for all of these, having an option to toggle Amber's state of dress; it's already under there after all, may as well make use of it!
Anyways, that's about all I can think to ramble about for now, I'm off to put some clothes on some of these NPCs so I can show them off next time; have a good week everyone, stay warm!
