Update!

Happy Friday, everyone!
First off, apologies for the missing Dev update last Monday—New Year's festivities got the better of me, and time slipped away like it had a date with the time machine. Hope you all had a blast ringing in the New Year, and if you're following the news as closely as I am, well, it's shaping up to be the Year of the Dragon, no doubt.
I've been itching to write this post for ages, but confidence in my plan was playing hide-and-seek with me. But guess what? I found it! You know, that eureka moment where you feel like you've discovered a secret level in a game. So, let's dive into it.
As you might have noticed, I wasn't exactly doing cartwheels over the visual novel (VN) style of Mother's Devotion. It was a compromise I made, trying to keep the peace and perhaps take the easy road. Admittedly, it was a misstep. I've always envisioned something more game-like, less like flipping through an interactive comic.
Big news: Mother's Devotion is getting a makeover from the ground up. New code, new story, new scenes, new characters—the whole shebang! What's on the chopping block, you ask? The Older Son has taken an early exit; turns out, I didn't need that extra layer of complexity. Clark, the Server Room Guy, and the entire Server area—gone. They were starting to feel like unnecessary plot twists.
But introducing Howard—the Old Man. He's set to be Clarissa's thorn in the Ass, and no, that wasn't a pun. Emma's got a squad now—two friends, one nerdy and yet to be named, and a sporty one, also nameless. Suggestions welcome! Sleepovers are in the pipeline for future updates, so get ready for weekend events.
The intro? It's juicier. We're kicking off after a big fight, the initial breakup before the divorce. Clarissa's got more anger and sadness in the mix, adding layers to her lewd decisions as she navigates her own emotional turmoil.
Story-wise, location changes are afoot. Children's rooms remain untouched, but Clarissa's bedroom had a makeover—needed a wall, that was missing in the previous bedroom,
you know? Office map got a facelift too, now more intimate, more like it's used by three people, not some shiny floor straight out of Bruce Almighty (great film, by the way).
Gameplay's had a facelift too! Three times of day, a city to explore, and it's not your typical sandbox—it's a few scene-rich locations like Office, Home, Park, Gym, MC's Home, and Redlight District.
Money makes a cameo, but it's not stealing the spotlight. Manage it if you're all about that lesbian-only playthrough, or ignore it. Your call!
Game's free for everyone, but I'm cooking up a Supporter Version on the side. Respective tiers get bonus content and more polished builds. The next version? Supporter exclusive!
Not everything's flipped upside down, though. Michael's dates are still on the menu, and side quests are in the works. Cool, right?
This got lengthy, I know. But it had to be said. I pour my free time into this game, and I get it—you're patiently waiting, sometimes frustrated. Sorry for the long wait, and I hope this update gives you a glimpse into what's brewing.
Anyway, thank you. Your support never ceases to amaze me.
With all my love, Fluffy <3
