Helloooooooo, internet! Sammy here, giving a Devlog of my own! Sephra and Tib have been really hard at work, so the least I can do is pick up some of their slack, right? Let me just... put on the lizard suit... Ugh, this thing is stuffy. And it needs a wash!

Howdy everyone!


Sephra here! This week I've been working on a new set of additions to the grapple system we want to get in, namely some close-up shots of various areas where you might not otherwise have the best view in the main animation; they should be up on the discord for your viewing pleasure but for now, you can scroll down to see a blurred version of one of them to give you an idea! (Sorry, Sammy here, I have no idea how to post a file in the middle of the post, haha. Sorry, you'll have to scroll down!)



Beyond that, I've been finishing off another tune and working on some ideas for different non-adult enemies to fill out the roster more; currently my thinking is we have some ceiling based things like turrets (stun turrets, of course!) with some accompanying challenge to overcoming them; the aim will be to have the levels feel a lot more full and challenging and, you know, game-y overall xD


Meanwhile Tib's been continuing their work on the player code, trying to get things working as smooth and airtight as possible so they can build the other stuff upon it, and it all appears to be going very nicely!
