Weekly devlog / update!


Hey everyone, it's me, Tib this time!

I wanted to give everyone a quick weekly update as always!
No new patch today as I've been ironing out some of the base things in the current version of the game, namely to improve performance and address people not being able to play due to the game requiring Vulkan. We are planning to use Vulkan in the future, but for now, in order to make the game as accessible as possible, I've decided to disable all 3D scenes, and focus only on 2D and making 2D performant! This also means that I'll be switching to using OpenGL for the next patch, which should not only run much better on older hardware, but it should also enable people with older integrated cards to play the game!

Fingers crossed the next patch will also feature some moving around and punching things! Or even kicking, we shall see!

For now, that's it, but there's just one more thing..

I've been working on a load screen for switching between maps and scenes! Check it out!
