Zarya Smash

"Pretty thing, I like it!" Zarya pinches your cheek and crowds you into a corner as you blush. Her battle-worn hands feel dangerously sexy, her toned muscles shining beautifully amidst the drab setting. Zarya is a warrior who is always packing heat. And as she unbuckles her belt, you see the truth of that spring out."

Animation by Cunnimatrix and sound by Shmopla.

This is one of those scenes that I'm glad to be done with, but also learned a lot from.
Particles can be a real pain in the ass to work with, particularly in loops, when it comes to VR. Just when you think you have them perfect... nope. The unexpected arises.
After not working with particle hair for a very long time I was, to my own surprise, pretty excited to work with it and see if things had changed. They haven't.
I tried utilizing interpolation to get around the shortcomings of particle hair in loops, and for a short while truly believed I had figured it out. Nope. Unexpected bounciness that didn't appear whatsoever while working on it, or even while rendering, materialized out of no where. So, while I did learn how to fix basic loops with interpolation in this process, particle hair is still out, at least in terms of looping for VR where you have the same camera angle throughout.
I almost scrapped this, but I realized that doing so would be me giving up hard work, turned into content, that some of you could still enjoy if you so desire.
I know people are going to criticize, and some won't even read this, and then still proceed to flame me for it. But no one is a better critic of my own work than me. They won't say anything I haven't already thought a hundred times in my own head. So I'd rather share it and allow you to check it out than hide it for fear of criticism or ridicule.
Enjoy.
