Heart City Stories is an anthology of episodic standalone VNs chronicling the love, friendships, passion, and heartbreaks of various characters in a city nicknamed Heart City. If you like wholesome doujinshi/manhwas, 2D art, and animated scenes, then this anthology might just be up your alley!
Ep. 1: FRIENDLY FAVOURS (completed, v1.05)
You just moved to a city and made your first friend: a friendly neighbour from your apartment building named Yuka. You both hit it off, but will you end up as just friends, or more? There are 2 endings to the story, but it's more about the journey than the destination! Learn about the main character and Yuka, their stories, and what draws them together!
Ep. 2: OFFICE RIVALS (completed, v1.03)
You and your co-worker Nanako have always had a bitter rivalry, until one night you two have to cooperate for once. What bottled up feelings will this predicament reveal? Will it reignite your long-lost feelings for Nanako? And how will she eventually help you to reconnect what you've lost in touch with?

HCDN playtest version is out
Hi everyone.
Quick heads-up for playtesters! The playtest version of the mini VN featuring Michelle is out. Please find the link on Discord. The playtest version isn't in the best shape, you might find some disconnected dialogues and cut-off scenes, but overall it's a glimpse into the future complete version of the story.
Took me long enough to realize that the main menu screen makes it look like a harem game.As you know, I work on the mini VN on the weekends (weekdays are for HBD), and a lot has been achieved thanks to its simpler format and story.
Heartbreak Detour progress
Heartbreak Detour development briefly shifted to re-writing the premise of the story. Grace's silence was a huge cloud over the whole story, and this uncertainty didn't translate well to the VN format, and had caused many restrictions to the story's day-to-day events.
It took a while to brainstorm, but I found a good and suitable slight narrative change to reframe the story. It's nothing major, and nothing else really changes though; just the framing. Anyway, now the the reframing is done, I'm feeling a lot less restriction (but within reasons) for MC's story, which is a good thing going into the next month.
Sooha's Diary
I've also began writing bits and pieces of Sooha's story in the latter chapters. It gets a little sad, as MC learns more about Sooha, and why she is the way she is. But, I cannot spoil too much.
These aside, yeah there's not much else to say. Take care!

October progress report III
Hi everyone!
This week I had started the 2D rendering process to all the current sketches. Rendering in 2D basically means adding colors, shadows and form to a rough sketches.
Here's an example- a brief light-hearted scene in the beginning of Chapter 2: The shadows are not fully rendered yet! And here's the literal breakdown of that scene:Drink responsibly or this might happen to you.
Heartbreak Detour has lots of these seemingly mundane moments especially in the early chapter, but they're really fun to write. Especially Sooha of course, she has lots of subtle displays of affection. For instance, there's a scene where she's making herself and MC some coffee, and the MC's coffee has latte art on it, but if you look at her coffee, it doesn't have any.
Other than that, there's nothing else much to report on, at least for HBD.
2D rendering is a rather monotonous process that could go for some time. I have to finish the first few scenes first, before moving on to the next.
