Here's to 2022!

With 2021 coming to a close, and quite a lot happening in the past year both in my personal and online life, I thought I’d take a moment to lay out my plans moving forward into 2022.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for supporting me, not just throughout this past year, but ever since I started writing and posting stories back in the tail end of 2016. It’s hard to believe it’s already been 5 years since I posted the first chapter of ‘My Little Canary’ and I wouldn’t have been able to improve so much without everyone’s support. So once again, thank you for everything and I hope to count on your support going forward.

Next, for as amazing of a year I’ve had, there have been two major incidents that hit me pretty hard as well; having to leave Patreon and the indefinite suspension of my DeviantArt account. While I accept full responsibility for not reading Patreon’s Terms of Service agreement thoroughly enough, the changeover to SubscribeStar was actually pretty easy and it’s a platform that I enjoy using quite a bit.

As far as the DeviantArt debacle is concerned though… that hurt more than I expected. I don’t blame the moderators for their decision given the information they had, and the preview images I posted, I realize now, did in fact break copyright laws. What I don’t accept is the circumstances that led up to my account’s suspension. Because one user took issue with me using other people’s art for my edits and captions, they led the assault against my account and labeled me an ‘art thief’. When my account was wiped out, I was ready to take the loss and move on, but this user continued to mock and ridicule me on DeviantArt with no ramifications because, as long as you don’t target someone’s sex, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation, it doesn’t count as hate speech and the moderators will not remove it. That doesn’t sit well with me, and I can’t bring myself to leave DeviantArt, both because despite everything I like the platform and it has a sizable community of giantess lovers that I don’t want to abandon. So, I have created a new account on DeviantArt, NRawkk, and will be reuploading all my stories and edits/captions that I haven’t expressly been asked to not use by the original artists. Because of this, some of my plans that I was set to implement early in January will have to be pushed back a few weeks, possibly until February sometime, but I will explain those later. Just know that I intend to make a comeback to DeviantArt.

I was planning on reopening commission slots in January, I have new prices set that better reflect the amount of time and effort it takes for me to produce the quality of stories that I am satisfied with:

These will be the prices I’ll use until June, when I’ll re-evaluate and adjust them as needed.

However, as explained above, I will have to reupload my entire catalog of content, stories and edits/captions, onto DeviantArt in January; numbering more than 150 stories/chapters and 180 edits/captions between pictures and drawings. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I wanted you all to know that commissions are coming back.

On the topic of edits and captions… while I realize that I already haven’t been the most consistent with uploading them already, I’ll probably ease up on producing them even more. I’d be lying if I said it had nothing to do with my old DeviantArt account getting wiped out. I am now aware of how easily someone can weaponize copyright law against someone who, in all matter of fact, is following it, and the amount of time it takes to write, edit and photoshop each image is too large for that work to potentially be wiped out so easily. As a comment on my old account said: It only takes a monkey with a hammer minutes to destroy something a craftsman spent his whole life making.

That isn’t to say I dislike making them, far from it, I love it. I just have to face the reality that I should focus more on my writing since that is far harder to dispute. So again, I’m not stopping, just planning on slower releases now.

For SubscribeStar, I’ll have to review both the benefits per tier and the number of tiers available. While they work for now, I’m not quite satisfied with what I’m giving out in exchange for the price but at the same time I cannot think of better or more fitting incentives. However, I’ll have to make changes in regards to my goals to accommodate my limitations and commission prices. Since those changes have less of an immediate effect on my Subscribers, though, I’ll have to carefully consider what changes to make and when to implement them.

But a venture that I am most nervous of announcing by far is… writing non-erotica, fiction stories. This doesn’t mean I am going to stop writing size-fetish stories, I have way too much fun with them to stop, but obviously if I do try to focus more on writing fictional stories while also working at my current job, the amount of my normal content will likely suffer a bit. The monthly polls and commissions are going to take priority over everything right now, so those are not going anywhere. But if non-fetish based stories in my writing style interest you, I have a second twitter account I’ll be using to announce new stories and chapters on that side of things.

I’m pretty sure that covers all my current plans for 2022, or at the very least the first half of it. If any major changes happen I’ll be sure to make another update, otherwise I won’t make another post like this until we’re getting ready to move into 2023.
