The Game
Set in a modern fantasy world, Secret Island puts you in the shoes of a powerful sorcerer and battle-hardened mercenary. After being caught in a war you never wanted to be a part of, you fought just for the chance to get revenge on some people on the other side, just to be betrayed as you got your revenge. Shot and left at sea, you found yourself on an unknown island, saved by a group of intriguing women, not all of them human. Strangely, you've never heard of this place before.

As you settle into life on the island, you quickly realize something is amiss. People can't leave, despite hearing messages from the outside world. Mysterious magic seals protect various parts of the island. People don’t want to talk about other people living on the island. You are filled with questions about who else is living on the island, about who made the magic seals, what dangers lurk around, and why you are there. Both you and your newfound companions harbor secrets.

Explore the island. Discover the lore of this world. Meet new people, bring them to live with you, and delve into romantic relationships with them. 

The Developer

I am an experienced game developer with more than six years in the gaming industry. This is my first solo experience developing a game, but I plan to get more people to work with me as the game is developed. I draw references and inspiration from many sources, like tabletop RPG games, and many video games. My focus will be the story of the world and the characters, but without leaving the lewd scenes behind.

Why Support

This game will be made until the end, does not matter how much support is given. However, working a full time job as game developer I can only spend my free time in this project. With your support I may start spending more time working, which will speed up development considerably. Additionally, I may get some help from people with more experience in other parts of game development. From sound designers to QA, and others.

About Versions:
The game versions will follow the major.chapter.minor.patch-type logic. 

 Note: If you play alphas and betas, do it with the intention of helping development. Report bugs on Discord in the alpha or beta channels. You should keep a save from the release version at the end of the chapter, and always use it when a new release is made. Don't use a save from alpha on a release version!
For betas and alphas, I will probably only send patches. Full game builds only on release. Patches will be easy to use, just extract over the game folder and overwrite any file.

My Process

My process of development starts with writing the chapter. The first few alphas will probably be text only. With the finished chapter, I will start making the CGs and adding them to the game. The next step will be to review all the scenes and testing the chapter. I try to build frequently, so you will see lots of alpha versions.
