Hello there, SubscribeStar Mythies!
It's your old pal Nine here with some end-of-the-year cheer to spread. It was a long road with a whole bunch of bumps, but 2025 was the year that I actually completed my first story and put it out there for the world to see. Sure, it may not have exploded in popularity (not yet, anyway), but I'm actually immensely proud of myself for just having done it. So many solo devs never manage to finish their games, but here we are.
This isn't the end for Mythos, though - as I've already mentioned. I've taken my time off to relax and pursue my own things, but now the work on Book Two begins.
For those who weren't around for the development of Book One, it's gonna be a ride. There's character interviews and short stories that get released alongside each chapter of the game as it comes out. Chapter One of Book Two is going to be the "demo" of the next game, which I plan to have as an early access title on Steam and itch.io so people can play it chapter by chapter as it comes out.
I'll put store pages up for Book Two while I'm doing development, so you'll be able to follow along with me on my journey there as well, if that's your thing. I'm also going to revamp this page, which will involve changing the tiers (since some of them were kinda extraneous, and I think you can set your own amounts anyway). I do hope you stick around, because 2026 is going to be the start of the next entry in my Mythos journey.
Well... after MAGFest, at least. I have a cosplays to get sorted out...
