[Released][Celestial] Affexon v0.31
Changelogs(v0.31):
- Rewritten Base Code:
- Old save files are no longer compatible due to a complete rewrite of the base code.
- Save File Improvements:
- Added the option to name your save files. This feature can be toggled on or off in the preferences menu.
- Introduced a delete button next to your save files, providing more control over file management.
- Performance Updates:
- Removed the Performance Mode and Quality Mode toggle, replacing it with an optimized Performance Mode.
- Gameplay Enhancements:
- Adjusted various transitions throughout the gameplay for smoother visuals.
- Video Playback Fixes:
- Resolved an issue where certain videos appeared smaller in resolution, playing in only half the screen when switching between fullscreen and windowed modes.
- Memory Optimization:
- Addressed memory leak issues. The game now maintains memory usage below 500 MB during normal pacing and does not exceed 2 GB in any mode. Previous tests only focused on the "skipping phase," where no memory leaks were detected, but issues in normal pacing mode for some users should now be resolved.
- Video Quality Improvements:
- Upgraded several older 2K videos to 4K for enhanced visual quality.
- Downgraded 4K 120 FPS videos to 4K 60 FPS to prevent jittering. If jittering persists, please report it, and a 1080p video patch will be made available.
- Patch-Friendly Updates:
- Modified the code to prevent certain media patchable files from being archived into ".rpa" files, making future patches easier and accommodating users who prefer to avoid ".rpa" files.
Please report any remaining issues to ensure they are addressed promptly.
