Special start of year 2026 announcement!
Hello, everyone! Today is a special day, the first announcement of the year 2026.
As promised, today begins the new Drawing event. Details about it can be found below. In addition to that I also wish to present to you my plans for the upcoming year.
Before we get to it let’s quickly sort out the weekly update part.
Thank you. And… I’m sorry!
I’d like to thank to all of you who’ve been watching, reading and following me throughout the many years I’ve been creating comics and art. A warm welcome to all the new people who’ve found me via my youtube videos. And a special Thank you to all of my supporters. Without you I’d not be able to stay afloat. I truly mean it.
Also… I need to apologize to you all. Most of you who’ve been following me for a long time must’ve noticed that the Monstroniverse-focused content was lacking for the last 2 years. The guilt is solely on me, there’s no point to deny it. My video project, the series “Dark elf for Elden lord” that took one and a half year to create and post, ate away huge portion of time and effort which could be used on the comic and the Monstroniverse lore instead.
My health issues that occurred in October of the last year also played a part in it. But the main blame lies on the series. Indeed, the reason why there were no new Monstrology articles and the comic has been posted at a lower rate than usual – is mostly because of it.
And while I’m truly sorry that this was the case, I didn’t really expect it to become such a colossal endeavor when I was starting it, I… don’t have any regrets. A creator’s heart is a beast that can never be fully tamed. If it demands to create, if there’s a stream of inspiration flowing through it, there are only two paths the creator can take. To disregard it and suffer the pain of unfulfilled misery. Or to accept the fate and to do what must be done.
I’ve chosen the second option. The series was a work of pure, which I dreamed to create for many years. And I’ve payed a heavy price for it. My Patreon used to climb close to 200$/month at some point. Throughout these two years it dropped to a 116$ mark. People who’ve stopped pledging left, disappointed in me. I deeply regret that I’ve disappointed them.
The series is over and done now. It’s time to atone and to focus on what is truly important. This year I’ve no major plans unrelated to Monstronivers. 2026 will be fully dedicated to the comic, to Monstroniverse and to the already started lore work. I may still create some videos, if there will be material to work with, but they’ll not have the scale that could interferes with my main goal.
Drawing event
- Drawing event is a special event I hold for my supporters where I draw illustrations on particular themes. But since we haven’t had a Drawing event in a very long time, current one will have a Free-for-all format. I’ll draw whatever the Participants want (With some limitations, of course. Obviously)!
- The event takes place on Monstroniverse discord (Invite link -
https://discord.gg/VvxvKJp ) in the special channel reserved for members of the Discord with the rank of “Participant”.
- Participants are Subscibestar/Patreon supporters of the 2nd tier or higher. If you’re not one but you wish to join the Drawing event and have me draw something for you – you’re free to become a supporter until the end of the event.
- This Drawing event has no fixed ending date. It starts today and will go on until every Participant receives their work and is satisfied with it! I have the itch to draw for you, guys. So expect quality art! Let’s have some fun these upcoming weeks!
Plans for 2026 – Media expansion
Full focus on Monstroniverse is not the only thing that I plan for this year. For the longest time I get frustrated with the lack of new readers and supporters (There are new people, of course… but not at the rate that feels satisfying to me). All of this is, of course, my own fault. My media presence and self-advertising are at a very low level. I need to fix this and to expand my reach.
Current issues
First of all, the situation with Deviantart is dire. For years the site served me well, being a neat little storage of all of my art, both NSFW and not. Now… I can’t even get to the site. A couple of years ago something strange happened to it. Whenever I tried to open the site I’d get in but every single image would be blank. I tried my hardest to fix that and the only way to do that was to use a VPN. Apparently my government somehow put a limitation on that site which… doesn’t make sense. They didn’t outright block it. But they made it unusable. What’s the point of using an art site if you can’t see art on it?!
“Well, with VPN it works, so what’s the issue now?” You might ask.
Indeed, for a time there was no issue. Things changed several months ago. You might’ve noticed – I stopped posting weekly updates there. Now, whenever I try to use the VPN, Deviantart itself blocks me from entering it. I get the error 403. Denied access.
Is this a temporary issue or as this the new reality? Who knows. The harsh truth is that I can’t use this site anymore. And I need to find new, better places to post my art.
From other bad news, I’ve been perma banned on Comicfury forums. The reason? I tried to advertise my video series in the…ehem… the section of the forum called “Shameless advertising”. The irony is so dense you couldn’t cut it with a knife. The blade would just break.
Not like it really mattered though. The forums of that site are a barren wasteland. And judging by how easily I’ve been banned… I’m not surprised why.
Twitter is not much better. Did you… even know that I have a twitter account? No? Oh well.
For several years I’ve been posting weekly updates there. What a disaster it was – there’s absolutely no effect! Not only the algo completely ignores my existence, now there’s also this shitty AI“Edit image” update taking place. I’m not going to outright quit twitter, but I don’t think I’ll ever post any of my art there. Only links.
Options to consider
As you can see above, my media presence is not very good. I need to find new sites to post my works on. And not just illustrations, I actually want to find a new alternative place to host my comic at.
This is where I could use your help and advice. Let’s see the options:
- Hentai foundry. I have an account there but I didn’t update it in a while. I have some serious issues with that site. They only accept smut and they also have a certain quality level requirement. What means, if they think your art is too crappy, it’ll be rejected. Needless to say, this doesn’t fit my demands. I need a place where I can post ALL of my art, both NSFW and not. And I don’t want to be told what I can post and what I can’t. This site is not an option.
- Cara. I’ve already created an account on that new site and I’ve uploaded some of my Elden ring related art. The site’s layout is nice, the gallery function is there. But the site itself is still in development stage and their ToS states that they currently don’t accept NSFW art. I hold my hopes high that this will eventually change. But for now this site is not the reliable alternative it I wish it was. So… we’re waiting.
- Purelyhuman. A new, a little strange site which I’ve discovered… yesterday. It’s created by a guy who absolutely hates AI and wants to create a platform for artists which will focus heavily on filtering the filth out. The site is in a very early stage of development, even more than Cara. I was allowed to upload only 30 illustrations to it and none of them could be NSFW at the moment.
Same as with Cara, I’ll monitor it and wait, hoping for the best.
- Newgrounds. Now this is something that’s worth considering! The site is old and tested, it allows NSFW of any kind. A perfect place to serve as my main gallery! But of course… there got to be an issue. I have an old account there which I didn’t use for many years. I tried to log in recently and I’ve run into a problem – that account is tied to an email address that I’ve long lost access to.
It seems that my old email has either been hacked or stolen at some point, and the site that hosted it ignores my tickets, as they now refuse to work with people from my country. Charming. In other words, that email is lost for good, and in order to restore my access to Newgrounds, I need to somehow make them change the email my old account is tied to. Which is probably not going to be easy.
But I don’t give up. I’ve already written a mail to the Newgrounds support, explaining my situation. If that doesn’t work I can simply create a new account there and start uploading art all over again. I will wait a little though. I really wish to get access to my old account.
- Pixiv. A famous Japanise site, equivalent of Deviantart. I’ve checked it a little and it’s… intimidating. It’s all in Japanise and I’ve no clue what they allow and what they don’t. Will I even be allowed to create an account there? We’ll see.
I’ll try do that somewhere later when I have more free time. But I don’t have high hopes for this option.
The sites I’ve listed above only fit for posting art in general, not the comic. For posting the comic there needs to be a system in place to scroll through pages, otherwise readers would not be interested.
Comicfury is good, but it’s the only place where you can find my full comic. Keeping all the eggs in one basket is never a good idea. This is where I could use your help.
Webtoons is not an option. The site’s format is too weird and it doesn’t work for me because of strict anti-NSFW stance. Even boobs are not allowed there. What a joke…
My knowledge about webcomic hosting sites ends here. Are there good sites similar to Comicfury? Could there be new sites that you’ve heard about but which are not popular yet?
Suggestions are more than welcome.
