Edgy Plush Content the Bunny
Drew Content in a kind of edgy cool girl style - the sketch started softer, kinda how I regularly draw them, but then I ended up leaning into a more intense expression and vibe. ...then I didn't know what to do with the hands (typical), but remembered they're also a plushie sona so here we are with a moody injured plush Content wielding their sewing needle sword.
I tried out a new style with this one. I used 3 main brushes.
Sketch:
- "Gloaming" from Procreate's Drawing brush set
this has been my favorite since I updated Procreate finally and got it, it's so nice for shading sketches and making them very dimensional, and it blends well --- not that I did that here, but just on how I have used it in the past/in general
Render:
- Flat Brush from Procreate's Painting brush set
- Soft Airbrush Procreate's Airbrush brush set
I used the selection tool a lot in this one, mostly for the spiky/block-y stuff. I haven't used the Flat Brush much before this, but was pleasantly surprised by how useful it was. I really liked how using the flat brush on the chest tuft and then erasing some of it to make the points in the fur added some subtle dimension there that looks a little choppy, without having to use the selection tool and airbrush a bunch (how I've tried to achieve that look in the past).
Thanks for reading - hope you enjoy the art!
