🧑💻 Dev Notes
Hey everyone!
Fret not , he’s coming back soon. This update gives us a chance to focus on and develop other characters for a bit, which honestly keeps the story feeling fresh and dynamic. Don’t worry, he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. We’ve still got a long road ahead and some life-changing moments waiting down that path.
The full script rewrite is complete and will be gradually introduced starting next update. I also found a method to shrink the game size (inspired by Stolen), by removing unnecessary animation files, this will help improve load times without sacrificing quality.
There are also small hints in this update about what’s coming next.
Sane as Stolen, the next step is to clean up character visuals, fix minor bugs, and maybe throw in a few new expressions. The rewritten script keeps the same core story but flows much better, smoother pacing, more natural dialogue, and an overall more cohesive experience.
For now, sit back and enjoy the update

Hey everyone,
This marks the second update for Stolen this month, and I’m really glad I was able to push it out on time. In this update, we begin to explore a deepening connection between Miwa and... another male?

On the backend, I’ve finally figured out a reliable way to cut down game file size, which has honestly grown too massive for my liking. Expect to see results starting from the next update onward. I’m also planning to polish older content while I'm at it.
As for the website migration I mentioned earlier... yeah, it's buggy. Still ironing things out, but hey, we live and learn.
With this update wrapped up, I’ll be shifting my focus back to Devoted Wife.

🧑💻 Dev Notes
Hey everyone!
This update introduces a brand-new user interface, and honestly, I think it fits the novel’s tone perfectly. Sometime was spent making the new UI work smoothly with the project. It’s not perfect(lack of time), but hey, it runs.
You’ll also notice new animations and visuals added to the beginning of the game, these are part of the ongoing visual overhaul. They’ll gradually be rolled out across the rest of the story, since a lot of re-coding and dialogue adjustments are needed to keep everything consistent.
Next up, I’ll be cleaning up character visuals, fixing minor visual bugs, and maybe adding a few new expressions. The upgraded script is almost ready, it keeps the same storyline, just better in every way, better pacing, better flow, ‘smoother’ dialogue but the core concept remains the same. Just improved in every way.
I’m still figuring out the best way to release it without driving myself insane, maybe not as a separate project, or I’d never sleep again!
For now, enjoy the new update and upgraded visuals. 24 scenes have been completely redone for better immersion.

Great news! No more endless skipping! You’ll now find a Chapter Selection screen under the Extras tab, letting you jump straight into your favorite moments without skipping through the entire novel. (The featured image is still a placeholder for now, will be refined later.)
Oh, and replay junkies rejoice, you can now skip dialogues in the Scenes Gallery too.
On the writing side, the full script rewrite is finally complete!
I’m in the middle of coding it, so it won’t be long before you can experience it in-game.

Dev Notes
Well, well, well… here we meet again.
I’ve just finished upgrading all 7,700 character images, and yes, the Chapter Selection bug has been squashed, for now. That alone shaved a few days off production, but it had to be done. Expect similar enhancements to roll out in Devoted Wife as well.
Also worth noting, an upgraded version of the script has been written for both games. This refined writing style will gradually be integrated across updates, bringing along enhanced animations, and better visual polish with each release.
One more thing, I’m aware that having to do a full reinstall for every update isn’t ideal. I’m actively exploring ways to streamline this, so future updates can be lighter and more efficient. Stay tuned.
