And... it did indeed cost, for all three have lost a part of themselves that may never return. Seeking knowledge and the prowess of the divine within the Twin Wonderlands is considered a cardinal sin amongst those who follow the Covenant of Duality, and as such all three were punished and exiled to the beyond... forevermore.

The Grimoire of Lust. A sign of a beckoning desire, as all of man has cemented within. The desire to conquer, the desire to dominant, the desire to be conquered and dominated. But at the end of the day, it's all the same, for it is all cardinal desire. But these Astrals... that desire is within all of them. A sinful creation brought into fruition by The Sinner. For neither the Sun, nor the Moon had desired this. And yet, she casted it unto man regardless, forcing her selfish ideals onto the world below in an attempt to fix what was broken. Yet... the world has fallen even deeper into the trash pit of divinity, for even she is "his" puppet. A puppet controlling a circus... how ridiculous.

The Grimoire of Belief. In the past, many believed the power of those who conjure these so called "Covenants" to get a majority of their power from the people's "belief" in them... but that's not the reality. Regardless of how many people believe in a God's or Goddesses' will, their power doesn't change. They are still divine at the end of the day, so even the most obscure of the divine can post a threat to even the most influential. The Goddess of Duality was wise to call upon the crusade, to bring an end to the Age of Gods and a new beginning, a new Age of Duality, where the scales are finally balanced. For she saw the cries of the women within this time period. She saw their lack of prowess, their forced servitude, and the many horrors deigned upon them. And with her divine will, she ushered in a new beginning.
