Next Step ~ Repeatable Scenes

I finally finished the home date scene. Now I'll be working on some repeatable events/scenes. Basically, scenes like asking for a quick kiss. These shouldn't take too long to make.

The repeatable scenes for Alice will raise her stats like Affection. Eventually, raising her stats enough will cause an event to occur. (The Major 'S-Scene')

Aspect 3 (chibi version depicted in picture) will also get some repeatable scenes but will only raise a hidden stat. (Aspect 3 does not have stats like Affection.)

Road to First Build

Here's a little roadmap to show how what is left before I can publish the first build.

Currently, for the main Ch1 questline, I am working on a date at home. I have finished writing it and will now be creating all the renders for it.

Repeatable Scenes - Some little scenes for building up Alice's stats like Affection
Major "S-Scene" - After building up Alice's stats, an intimate event will happen
Outside Date - Another date for the Ch1 Questline but outside
Alice POV - After the date, an event will occur in Alice's point of view and will give access to switching to her as a playable character.
Ch1 End Scene - After some in-game time, the final scene for Ch1 will play

The end of Chapter 1 will be the MC being told to make some money to pay rent. Chapter 2 will allow free roam in the town. And the MC will take up a job somewhere in said town. This 2nd Chapter will also have more variety in what type of "content" is available.

Supporter Power!

The games themselves will be FREE and not pay-gated. So anyone can experience them without spending any money.

However, as a supporter, you have the power to influence what goes into the game. Such as specific scenes and what type of content to include. I will put out polls to decide what gets put in the project.

Higher tier supporters will have more impact on what is added and even put ideas forth for new characters, quests or whole scenarios, and what characters Aspect 3 can morph into!.

Anyone is allowed to ask questions about the project but please know, asking for specific content to be included is meant as supporter perk. Asking if certain content is already planned is okay.

While my project will focus on my own characters, I have thought of a way to include other characters without messing up the 'story'.

My character Aspect 3 has the ability to shapeshift into other characters as long as she knows what they look like. If there's a character from a particular series that you like, she can morph into them.

The morphs will be part of Aspect 3's dialogue tree. You will be able to pick a character then be able to ask her to do certain things as that character. (Note: I have yet to fully implement this mechanic.)

The attached image is an example of her doing a partial morph.

Character Swaps!

While the Red-Haired Boy will be the main character, I have added the ability to swap to another character. Other playable characters will have their own quests and have their own scenes with other characters.

For the first game Alice will be the only fully-fledged playable character who has access to Free-Roam. There may however, be certain parts where you control the choices of another character while viewing their POV.

(Currently, stats like Affection are only tracked for the MC. So no grinding for affection as Alice. This may change in the 2nd game.)

Choices And Their Effects

I am at the moment, just a single man, so please temper your expectations on how much a choice affects the story. The trilogy follows the same general story. You can't quite change the story to be something complete different.

Choices however, can affect how a scene plays out and what characters say. Say, your goal for a quest is to go on sneak into a place to get something. The story is getting said 'thing', that can't be changed. But how you go about it can vary.

You can sneak in and get the thing easily with no problem, you can charm your way in, or try to force your way in. That blunt way may upset Aspect 3. And those choices may affect future events and how other characters treat you. If you upset characters, they may punish you or make you appease them.

This is how I intend choices to work. Obviously, some choices are more or less impactful than others.
