Hi there!

I wanted to talk about what I've been working on these past two weeks.

Firstly, I was busy with the usual marketing stuff and published the game on itch.io (sadly the game is still not indexed).

In the meantime I was remastering almost every character in the game. I'll post some of them before/after photos down below for you to see. Tell me what you think about the new designs! A lot of them are subtle changes but there are some pretty visible changes to some of the characters.

Also, I was remastering the Day 1 and half of Day 2 content. I was basically batch converting the renders in GIMP, applying the LUT I've started to use in the middle of Day 2 and added a little bit of vibrance to make the renders look a lot like the ones that comes after the Emily scene in Day 2. I will also post the before and after photo below.

I also have started writing the script for Day 4, it's going pretty well.

Lastly, I'm currently working on a "Gallery" page where you can replay the scenes you have unlocked. You will be also able to filter the categories and the girls so that you can easily find the scene you want to see.

Good news! Day 2 development is almost done. If nothing glaring comes up during final tests, the release will be next week!

One bad news though, players will have to start from the beginning because I have changed a lot of variables to be in consistent with the new ones and the ones that will be added in the future. I will make sure something like this won't happen on the upcoming updates.

I have also made a lot of improvements on Day 1 content, in terms of fixing typos, smooth transitioning between the scenes and adding couple of missing sound effects to some of the characters and the scenes.

Also added a little heart button on top left of the screen that will lead the players to the new "Characters" panel (it's not really new but I made sure players don't miss it hehe). In this panel, you can read about the characters and follow their story so far, in anytime while playing the game.

Development Update

Impurities Day 2 update is well underway! In my experience writing the script and shooting the scenes are by far the most difficult processes and they make up almost 80 percent of the work. So all things considered, I can say I'm 95% done with script writing and about 80% done with shooting the scenes.

Day 2 update will be eventful! My scenes folder for Day 2 is sitting at 327 mb right now and it will only go higher, for reference Day 1 folder was only 182 mb!!!

I'll continue to give my best, trying to provide regular updates, thanks to your support! Below you can find the detailed graphic for this update's progress report.
