Hey folks!
I'm just posting this to let anyone who's actually paying attention know that I'm not dead.
After finishing the most recent chapter, I burned out hard. It became almost impossible for me to make progress on the next one, and my 'short break' to get my mojo back dragged on and on until I'd completely lost all momentum. I felt guilty about it, and only the fact that I knew that SubscribeStar wasn't actually charging my subscribers (due to the fact that I didn't have enough of them for that to automate) stopped me from taking drastic action here. To anyone who has been frustrated by my lack of posts, I apologize. Know that I haven't given up as an author and I do intend to continue. I have made some progress on the next chapter now, but I'm still struggling to get back into the rhythm.
Both as an apology and as a way to get my juices flowing again, I'm inviting y'all to throw out requests for a short or two. They'll be unrelated to the Empty Nest setting unless that fits particularly well with whatever people ask for. So, if you've got a kink you'd like to see me incorporate, or a particular type of setting you'd like me to use, just comment on this post. All I ask is that you not request that I include a particular OC or copyrighted material, and that you take a look at https://www.f-list.net/c/twilight%20tales/ to make sure that what you want isn't on my 'no' list.
If no one speaks up in the next week or two, I'll either do whatever pops into my head or dive right back into the next chapter of Shawn's story. Thanks again for being patient with me!
