Super-Quick Update

While I'd wanted Honor Bound to be ready before the USA Independence Day holiday, I had a minor setback.

Without going into great detail, one of my best friend's mother died unexpectedly. His father had died a few years prior from cancer, and he was taking it pretty hard. His mom was one of the most welcoming people I'd ever met, and she didn't mind when my punk/metal-head college self started walking into her house and just hanging out for hours (and sometimes days) at a time.

Plus, he and I hadn't hung out very much at all over the past 10–15 years, so it was good to reconnect on that front a bit. Hell, he was one of the people who'd gotten me into writing in the first place, as we both loved comic books at the time and wanted to be a creative force along the lines of the early Image titles.

While that never happened, life did, and we fast-forward to today...

The first-round edits are done. Now, I just want to run the story through Grammarly, do another read-through, and then I'll start setting up the book for publication. It should be available at the end of July at the latest.

First Draft of Honor Bound Is Complete!

This is just a quick note to say the first draft of Honor Bound (Jade Pham #3) is finally complete.

I'll probably begin editing next week and look for a release somewhere around the end of June.
