The Saddest Little Hooves in Redstone

Tansy would like it officially recorded that she has suffered terribly, has absolutely learned her lesson, and is now accepting sympathy, snacks, and preferably somewhere softer to sit.

Those big watery eyes might suggest genuine remorse... but anyone who knows Tansy knows there’s probably already another terrible idea quietly forming behind them.

At least her hooves are behaving themselves.

He held her in place when she jolted a wicked grin on his face. Was that mean? Yes, but her reaction told him she was alright. The smack to his shoulder got her another chuckle, 

“Poooooor baby.”

He pulled her closer and said,

“I love you too and I always will, no matter what state it’s in.”

Chapter 10 is considerably less celebratory.

After the events of the previous chapter, Ravienne has to face the consequences of disobeying a direct order in front of the entire crew, and Vael has to do one of the hardest things his position as captain has ever demanded of him.

Yes, this one is VERY spanky. No, neither of them is having a particularly good morning.

A Wolf With A Grievance

Kaelani was sulking.

Properly sulking.

Arms folded, ears pinned back, tail curled possessively around her legs, and a thoroughly warmed backside making sitting comfortably something of a lost cause.

She glanced back over her shoulder with watery blue eyes and the tiniest, most wounded pout she could manage.

Clearly, this was all terribly unfair.

Obviously, she had done absolutely nothing to deserve it.

And the fact that the colour in her face nearly matched the colour of her ass?

Entirely irrelevant.

Kaelani was innocent.

Probably.

 Stubbornly Unrepentant 

Ravienne Locke is stubborn, sharp-tempered, suspicious by habit, and far too good at getting herself into situations that end with somebody questioning her judgement.

She’s clever, fiercely loyal, quick on her feet, and even quicker with an argument when she thinks she’s right.

Unfortunately for Ravienne, being able to argue your case does not necessarily mean anyone is going to agree with you.

Judging by the expression, she’s currently somewhere between embarrassed, offended, and already planning her defence.

And those flattened ears?

Yeah.

She knows. 😏
