Hey. I have a few things I want to share, so I'm doing another one of those progress report posts. There's also one rather annoying bad news that I need to share… so let's just get down to it.
APBLU – Aya Edition
The bad news concerns Aya Edition. My artist told me literally four days ago that he needed to take the month of March off. It was a bit out of nowhere, but he told me he really needed it, and so obviously, while it does set me back, I couldn't really do anything. He needs to prioritize his health above everything else. So, yeah… I have all I need for this month, but not for next month… The worst part is that, since the ending needs a lot of CGs, even though it's only 33k~ words long, I'm forced to split it in half. So not only will I not be able to release anything in April, but the update in March will be smaller than what you guys are used to.
Now, maybe for April, I will have something else I'll be able to give you guys. The small-small project is moving along fast. And I also have the definitive edition of The Edge Of… so we'll see. I truly hope I can make it worth your while still. But I do apologize. I wanted to at least reach the first ending in April, but I guess that was too presumptuous of me.
For the update in March, I'm still waiting for animations. So I can't give a clear date just yet.
He Maid Her Fall
I'm close to completing coding the update for the next version of He Maid Her Fall. Though I'm still waiting for 1 CG. I don't have much to say about it, really. Here's hoping I can release the update in the next seven days? For now, the development is going relatively well, though my animator for HMHF will not be able to work as much as he used to soon… which puts me in an awkward situation since most of HMHF CGs have animations… So I might need to find another animator… again.
The Edge Of – Definitive Edition
I released the first version of The Edge Of – Definitive Edition to… crickets, really. I thought I would be receiving feedback, but most of them came from Discord regulars. I can only assume that most of you are either not that interested, or didn't find anything wrong with the first version. In any case, I'll keep on moving along, not thinking too much about it. I'm still waiting for William's sprite, but I do have Drew's sprite… which I will now share with the crickets who are interested in it. I feel like it doesn't quite capture Drew. But maybe, just like the other sprites, I will warm up to it. Here's a side-by-side with his counterpart in the original version.
He's a bit… larger. Then again, he was supposed to be somewhat muscled, but yeah.
I don't know when I'll be able to release the next update. I hope my artist can start working on the CGs soon. I need a few CGs before I can release anything (kissing CG, for example). In any case, I'm sure it won't bother anyone if it takes a bit of time, except maybe for a few crickets.
The Small Small Project
I still don't have a name for this project, but the title of "small-small project" is a mouthful. Anyway, I have all the sprites for the characters now. I also have the cover, and my artist is working on the first CG for the game. So it's moving along faster than I expected, really. I'm not ready to share the cover or the premise just yet. Mainly because I know some of you will start to try and ask more questions the moment I share more information. But as I mentioned previously, this project is supposed to be relatively small (60k words), and it's supposed to be consumed as something of a fast food NTR. Here's the sprite for the third character, Derrick. He's the… bull of the story.
His design is… pretty simple compared to Karl (the cuck). But still, I think it fits him well.
As I said at the beginning of this post, I would very much like for the first version of this project to be released in April since Aya Edition will be forced into a break. I would like to give you guys a little something.
In any case, that's it for this progress report. Don't know if I'm going to post another one at the end of the month.

I don't know how to call these posts. I want to share more information about more than one project, so I'm kinda drawing a blank.
In any case, this post is mainly to share a few more sprites for the two projects I'm working on. It's going relatively well, although I'm not sure how I'm going to manage all that when they are all going to be in development.
The small-small project
I still don't have a name for the project. I'm about 17k words in the story right now. As mentioned previously, I'm aiming for 60k words, and I have no idea what I'm doing. Don't expect much in terms of compelling corruption or storytelling. At worst, it's a bad NTR—what you guys are used to, I guess. I'm trying not to stress too much over it. It's a test, and I don't mind losing money over it. Depending on how it goes, we'll either have more of those small-small projects, or I'll curl into a ball and cry (and drink).
He looks so cute, doesn't he? Hopefully, he's the one ending up curling into a ball and not me. I'm not ready yet to share more information on the project. I think when you read the synopsis might be when the first release is available… although I might change my mind.
My artist is quicker since he's become my dedicated artist. I'm expecting to have both the sprite of the bull as well as the cover of the game by the end of the month. So first release… March? I don't think so. Well, I don't know. Maybe a proof of concept? So we can talk more about if I should invest more money into it (voice acting, for example).
In any case! Let's end it at that for today.
The Edge Of – Definitive Edition
I've been coding the proof of concept for this release on the side. I still don't have Sam's animated sprite just yet, so I won't be able to release anything until I do. But I'm hoping to have the animated sprite by the end of this month.
And so, my plan is to release the first day of the game (from Sam's perspective). It would be around 5k words. It's to showcase the new CGs, the new sprites, the new UI… and to see how people feel about the upgrade. I want it to feel like a new game, so I want to hear your genuine thoughts. But this is later this month (if the Hangover God is willing). For now, I'm going to leave you with Sam's new sprite (left) in comparison with his old one (right). He looks funny to me… but hey, that's part of the change, I guess.
The release should be soon-ish. Next week. Don't know if it's early next week or toward the weekend. All I can say is that I'm stressing out. I don't think it's the kind of update you guys are expecting. But I don't have much to say about anything, really. You guys will just have to wait and see.
He Maid Her Fall
I will be writing another post, in a few days, talking about He Maid Her Fall. Mainly, I want to run a poll. I want to know if you guys are interested in making He Maid Her Fall the main project after Aya Edition is completed, just so we can finish it sooner, or if you'd rather have something else as the main project.
Like earlier this month, since I have a few things I want to talk about, I'll simply write a progress report of all my projects. I could write more regularly about every little thing, but I'm always kind of self-conscious. I don't want to annoy you guys or spam your mailboxes. But I've realized that I've been posting less over the months, releasing updates without sharing much of my thoughts.
The small small project
So while Hangoverse has been put on hold, that doesn't mean I'm not working on something else. I told you guys I wanted to write a smaller project (compared to what I usually write). I've been on the fence for a while about this idea, primarily because NTR is more compatible with longer stories. But everyone can enjoy a bit of slop once in a while. Fast Food NTR, if you will. For now, I call it my "small, small project" since HMHF is already supposed to be a small project, the same way Clumsiness was. But… obviously, those aren’t small projects. He Maid Her Fall will probably be around 250k words, so yeah… This small, small project should, if I'm not too much of a retard, be around 60k words max. It will probably be bad as well, so don't expect much, alright?
Anyway, usually, when I write a story, I wait until I'm at around 100k words in the story before I start commissioning an artist. That's because I don't trust myself. But since I've never not produced the story that I wrote, and because I'm more financially stable, I thought the small small project would be a good way to test commissioning an artist as I move along with the story. Right now, I'm around 12.5k words in the story, but I already have the sprite for the heroine.
The artist who will be working on the small, small project is the artist who was working on Hangoverse. He's also the one who drew Haze's sprite for the commentary of Aya Edition this month (if you had enough time to waste to read it).
Not only is he going to work on it, but I had a discussion with him, and we agreed that he should become my dedicated artist. Which means he should be working exclusively for me from now on. It's kind of exciting since he will be my first dedicated artist, and hopefully, he will be able to pump art at a faster pace.
In any case! I won't share anything about the project, story-wise. But I will share the sprite for the heroine. Her name is Heather. I hope you like her design.
I plan on releasing it at the same kind of pace as HMHF. So 10k words updates. And I won't wait until I have the entire script written. So when the two male sprites are drawn, and I have the cover + the few CGs for the first update, I should be able to release it. Obviously not in February… but who knows? Maybe in March. We will see.
The Edge Of – Definitive Edition
I wanted to put the Steam page live, but Steam, being the gentle soul that they are, are forcing me to give them a build of the game first... even though the original is already on Steam. So this will have to wait… I currently have the sprite for Beth. I'm waiting for Sam, William, and Drew's sprite though… which might take some time. And that's without the few CGs that I'm waiting for for Sam's perspective. But maybe… maybe I can release a very small update if I can put my hand on Sam's sprite. With Beth's and Sam's sprite, I can probably release the first day when Sam comes back from Las Vegas. Don't know if I can pull it off for February though… Probably not.

He Maid Her Fall
I have all the CGs for the next version of HMHF. So I think I should be able to release something at the beginning of this month, during the first week, if we're lucky. This update should have a little bit more action than the previous one. I don't have much to say about it. I'm still waiting to disappoint you guys. I'm sure it's going to happen soon enough…
A Promise Best Left Unkept – Aya Edition
We're closing in on the first ending. With February's update, we will reach the beginning of the first ending. That ending will be two updates long. So in three updates, we'll have reached one ending out of four. I'm… worried, I guess. I mean, the game has been more than long enough, so it's normal for us to arrive there. And there are three more endings after that… but I don't know… I guess I will be able to explain my thoughts/worries a bit better after V0.7.6.
I'm waiting for one CG still. If I had to guess, something like the 17th, I'll be able to release the update, but always assume the worst.
Next Fantasy Project
I don't know how much I've talked about it here. I've mentioned it a few times on Discord, so I guess I should talk about it here as well. I've written all four of Aya's Edition endings now. And so I've slowly started working on my next big project. By working, I mean writing. I wanted to try something different, so I thought fantasy might be a good idea… but it's a lot more difficult than I thought. Mainly because there are a lot of unknowns. Anyway, I really have nothing to say about it. I'm not even sure if I'm going to do it. I leave myself until the end of February to decide. I just wanted to put it out there that I am indeed working on my next main project, albeit with a lot of mixed feelings.
So as you can see… lots of things. Lots of work. It's a bit daunting when I put it on paper like that. I don't know for how long I'll be able to keep up with this pace. As I mentioned on the discord, if I had a coder, it would be much easier to manage… but because I'm alone doing most things (except the art), it gets to a point where I work all day and have no life.
I'll write another progress report when I have more information on the upcoming project.

I don't really do progress reports much, but since I need to announce that I'm putting Hangoverse on hold, might as well do both at the same time.
Pausing Hangoverse
It might not come as a shock for the 25$ tier members since I ran a poll last month, but I've had very mixed feelings toward the Hangoverse project for some time. It doesn't really do what I wanted it to. It's a nice little project for my fans, but it doesn't attract new people, and it seems to be mainly a waste of time. By time, I mean in the sense that I want to create NTR product, and it doesn't feel like one.
I'm also a bit annoyed for other, more petty reasons. Mainly that I'm giving the game away on Steam and people are not the kindest there. I guess surprisepikachuface, a free NTR game will have bad reviews. And since it's this retarded project to boot, it doesn't help.
Anyway. It's not all lost. Because, while the 25$ tier members overwhelmingly voted for me to simply focus on my two main projects (Aya Edition and He Maid Her Fall), I'm, as you all know, retarded. So instead, for multiple reasons, I decided that I wanted to try writing a very small project. By that, I mean something no longer than 60k words. Which some might think would be an easy thing to do, but when you see what I usually write, it's a challenge for me. Mainly because I know the corruption will go too fast, and it's not going to be very good. It's going to be fast food porn if you will. I don't like when logic goes out the window for the sake of porn (too much). But I still want to try. And I want to put myself in a position where I'm forced to do it. So that's why I'm talking about it here. I also plan to start commissioning the sprites and CGs while writing it (I'm only 2.5k words in). Usually, I wait that I have 100k words written before doing anything.
In any case, don't expect anything. It's probably going to be a story that is lackluster and goes too fast. But there are advantages to small projects (like testing voice acting for example).

The Edge Of
I actually received the first sketch for Beth's sprite. As I said, because you guys decided on new sprites, it's going to take a while to have all of them. But this is the first look at how Beth is going to look like in the remaster. The artist asked me which pose I liked more and I posted it on the Discord server. The 3rd pose won. I would have wanted to poll you guys as well, but I wanted to have an answer quickly so my artist could work on it as soon as possible.
Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. You enjoyed your vacation, I hope so. I, for myself, did… for the little that I had. Lots of hangovers all around. That's what's important, no?
