scaling back

i've been thinking really hard about this for a few weeks now; i have accounts in a lot of different sites, and i've tried to open accounts in many others that i didnt get to actually post anything (usually cause of like, needing to be invited into it/having to receive approval before posting anything), to the point where, when its time to post anything its such a big fucking chore to do

on one hand i have 2 sites where i can get payement and i can schedule in my posts: patreon and subscribestar (used to have kofi too but kofi's a prude lil bitch)

but for non payment sites? deviantart, furaffinity, inkbunny, buzzly.art, twitter, tumblr, itaku, insta, and bluesky when we dont count toyhouse and vgen (where i cant even do comms because again, invite only)

every time i have to post it feels like a fucking chore and i end up not posting at all :,v

so, im thinking im going to drop a few of this sites and use only the ones where i genuinely see engagement with my content, although that leaves me wondering what to do with twitter cause a lot of people say twitter's where its at to get engagement, but i get nothing :v i'll keep trying on it but if it doesnt do anything still then i'll probably drop it eventually

keeping: deviantart, furaffinity, inkbunny, twitter

no longer posting: itaku, instagram, tumblr, buzzly.art, bluesky and toyhouse

it has been a long ass minute

i havent had any will to draw nsfw or bellies the last three months :,)

not even sketches surprisingly, normally i can count on sketches to get me by on content, but not this time, as soon as june started i kinda fell into a warrior cats hyperfixation rabbit hole that wouldnt let me do anything anything other than draw cats, but no sexy cats for whatever reason

HOWEVER, after finishing artfight in july and starting a new job in august, i think my regularly scheduled horniness for drawing has returned, at least enough to do sketches!

its not the only thing its done tho, since im currently starting at least 1 long project; a comic

i know i've said it many times that im gonna do one AND THEN I NEVER DO, and it eats me up inside with guilt because being a comic artist was my teenage dream, and every time i feel like im actually gonna start one i end up doing nothing, and it crushes my old teen self inside me

this time i've actually already started the project: character designs are finalized, the story is written for at least the prologue and first two chapters, i already sketched it and im currently rendering the prologue, so! this time its for reals!

the story will be based on my gameplay of clangen at the begining and will eventually depart from it so i can properly weave the story into a satisfying conclusion. I will begin posting the story here and on subscribestar ofc, and will then start to post it on my deviantart account.

now, this story is a sfw story, so it will be posted on my sfw tier, however i will still create additional nsfw art of the same characters that will be patreon/subscribestar exclusive

as for other projects, well, i still want to work on them. and i want to get back to making my regular nsfw art, and my belly art, and my sfw art, and i just wish i could make it all with no scheduling problems but such is life :v i will continue to do my best

MY PROCREATE BRUSHES ARE GONE

i think i accidentally deleted them :,v

i needed to clean out my ipad and started deleting apps i dont use and other files and i think my procreate brushes were somewhere in there and now i cant find them :v

luckily i have a lot of them still available for download in my gumdrop, but its gonna take me a while to download them all and get them back in order, hopefully it wont affect my posting schedule, i think i still have enough things lined up for upload so it shouldnt be noticeable if there is a bit of a delay

if there is tho, im really sorry, im an idiot :,)

apple news

ok i managed to contact a family member about selling me an apple pencil they dont really use, so i think i'll be getting it soon! hopefully i can get some comms soon after to build back what i spend on it, but i'll be able to work on them and finish the februbelly! heck yeah we can do it!
