The chandelier lights of the upscale restaurant cast a warm glow over the polished tables, but all eyes were drawn to her. She strode in confidently, her red dress clinging to her curves like a lover’s embrace. Across the room, a man in a tailored suit choked on his wine, his wife glaring daggers at him—and then at her. She didn’t care. She thrived on the attention, the whispers, the scandalized glances.
