Final Update on Health! (Hopefully 🙂‍↕️)

Okay I wanted to make sure I was at least near the end of my treatment before making any updates, that way I don't blindside anyone if something went awry with it but now that I just have one last day on the medication I'll give the whole shebang

So I did have a stomach infection caused by h.pylori, the bacteria that causes stomach ulcers and other unsavory things to your guts. I was put on a two week quadruple therapy regimen of antibiotics to clear it. Closing in on day 14, I should be good by the time I get my next checkup in a month. The side effects were varying degrees of nausea and dizziness which made it pretty difficult to do anything, as well as high anxiety. But it should be cleared by now. This infection is coincidentally not related to the current parasite ravaging the nation giving people insane levels of diarrhea, so I have not been turbo shitting my pants thank god

What I'm hoping for after this is a return to form and an end to most if not all of my fatigue problems from the anenia. Which means I can start chipping away at that backlog. Things should start up again monday, after I have time to get some actually healthy bacteria in my gut again through a probiotic regimen after the antibiotics wrecked havoc. I plan to come back with some real good stuff so thank you everyone for sticking with me.

Another Health Update! (TMI)

Okay so last time I mentioned I MIGHT be developing anemia but this last round of tests basically confirmed it, which means theres for sure something wrong. So as much as I love to joke about being lazy, I can now start joking about bloodloss being why things are taking so long lol

It could be ulcers, not necessarily from stress but from a bacteria, so an infection could be causing it, which I'm getting another test for today. If thats the case, I'll need to do a round of antibiotics which could clear it. If the test shows no infection, then I'll need to get a gastroenterologist to scope out my intestines. The fatigue I've had the last few months has for sure been awful and I'm hoping that I'll learn whats wrong and fix it ASAP. I really appreciate everyone whose supporting, and if I can be super honest I don't like sharing health updates at all lol it goes back to when I was a kid with asthma. People treat you so differently when you're sick y'know? But I can't keep people in the dark if I'm like actually going through something, ESPECIALLY people like you guys who share kind words and support me through all this. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.

Quick Health Update

I try not to do too many back to back without adding some art but I did have a somewhat important health update that will affect June output a bit. The long n short of it is that I've been suffering from some fatigue lately, and my last round of blood tests seem to be indicating that I might be developing anemia, so among a lot of extra medical tests to make sure I'm not developing a more serious, graver condition down the line, I have to be careful about work so my body doesn't hit the fatigue + stress wombo combo and put me in the hospital lol

As lofty a goal as doing full color every day was for mayternity it may have put me on the backfoot super hard and that's on me 🫠 so I'll mainly be doing sketchwork this month. Once I get some definitive info from my next doc visit in July I'll let you guys know and hopefully I'll have enough of a clean bill of health that I only need like one extra pill 😤🙏 the support and patience is like no other, you guys keep me going and I appreciate it

Oh I forgot to give an update, I injured my arm last week while moving a couch and was put out of commission for a bit but I'm back, it'll mean the mayternity stuff will slip into June but I am determined to do all of em 🫡
