Few things to talk about today. First one is an oopsie I did..

I've done the ultimate art no no! I started a commission without getting all the details first ><
I don't know what led me to feel so confident to do sumthing like this, but lesson absolutely learned.
I had spent an entire day on the sketching and was ready to start the line art. Then it hit me what a dummy i was..

We can still benefit from it tho! After the real commission, imma refine the sketch and we can enjoy a bonus piece ^^
I'm still quite proud of it since it was made using my latest mannequin practice and it felt much smoother.

It's going really well! I've put my focus on mannequins by doing gesture drawing nonstop and who'da thunk it, my skill has improved significantly! Plus body posing is coming much easier thanks to the gesture practice too!
Now that I'm confident in this area, it's time to move on to placing muscles on these mannequins since now this is my current trouble with certain angles.

Long ago I traded commissions for feedback on my private fantasy adventure story that I've been working on for YEARS, The Azurite King.

And I got it!

And it hurt xD

Needless to say it was brutal. But I get it. (Btw don't worry, it didn't offend me or anything, I thrive on constructive criticism) I'm not a writer, never was, never tried. It also had too many private references of another story that never went public.
And it was kinda just straight cringe xp

But thankfully this was only the 1st and maybe 2nd chapter! The 2nd-3rd chapter and everything after the story was 'really great'!
So I will be completely revamping the first (and maybe 2nd) chapter again so that interest is caught immediately and not just later on.
(But like if you're a medieval fantasy writer and have tips on how to start a story send halp 😭)

Anyway, all that to say THANK YOU to all who participated in that, the 'TAK' project is a deep passion of mine so your brutal honesty is exactly what I need to get it perfect one day. Even if it takes multiple attempts ^^'

-Art practice is going super well and I'm moving onto the next stage of making the basic figure!
