I wanted to take a quick moment and mention a utility tool that I helped developed.

Many of you know me from the X-Change Life mods that I create. I'm an active member of the XCL community and have helped in developing some pieces of code that made their way into the game. I'm a super humble person, I don't really gloat about my work very often, but I'm very proud to have had a hand in that. As part of a continued effort, both in helping other modders out and in helping myself out, I built an image processing tool called Requel. It was intended to replace Prequel, which was the game's go-to app for image filtering. As the war on all things NSFW continued, Prequel decided to stop allowing NSFW content for the renders. Which made it impossible to replicate the in-game style. So, out of spite, I started working on Requel as a replacement. It's grown a lot since then, with adding comfyui support, and even video processing, but we recently hit a milestone I wanted to share with you all.

With the latest release - available here - we have added a CI pipeline which renders newly build versions of the app in Mac, Windows, and Linux, each time we update the project. This was a huge thing for us, since multiple people are now involved in the project. @aphrodite has taken my little basic photo app and brought it into the modern app world! As we continue to push through new features and updates, you can find them directly in the app - as you can now check for updates, rather than having to wait to her from one of us.

The full changelog is here but the simple install/update/build was what really levels up the dev work. Aph worked really hard on an overhaul for the video side of the app, it looks great!

The new version of Purple just came out!!!! It's been a looooong time coming but this finally shoves us up to the 1.0.0 release. Meaning it's "vision" is how I would imagine it (as a framework) as being done. It sounds like ieonkno has some more scenes in mind, so I'm sure we'll partner up for more stuff down the road, but for now, it's live!
