I’ve been keeping up with my usual workflow—writing and posing scenes. I'm back to writing the miscellaneous scenes now, which may or may not include LIs. These mostly focus on the MC or side characters, and aren’t dependent on any branch.
Since I finished writing all of Kimberly’s scenes, I’ve been posing them every day now.
On top of that, I’ve started going through the music backlog to pick tracks for the new chapter. Some are already tied to specific girls or scenes, but I’m still looking for ones that match more event-driven moments.
Big thanks to everyone who’s wishlisted Yesterday’s Crossroads on Steam—we’re past 550 wishlists now. That really helps with Steam’s algorithm, which can boost the game’s visibility and ranking in the Upcoming Releases category. If you haven’t yet, please consider wishlisting it—even if you don’t plan on buying the game there, as it really helps.
Speaking of Steam, I’m mocking up the icons for the achievements and testing the builds through the Steam client. I want to maintain parity between both versions of the game (SS and Steam). However, I’m not allowed to include links to or mention external sources like Patreon or SoundCloud on Steam, so those will be the only differences—Steam’s version won’t have external links, while the Patreon version will remain the same as it is today. The game's story content will have no changes at all.
There are still a few things I want to do—like integrating Discord Rich Presence and adding the in-game phone app—but that can wait. I want to knock out the more important things first.
I hope everyone is enjoying the reworked content! It took me a while, but I’m satisfied with how everything turned out in the end. I’m now in full swing working on Chapter 4, writing and posing as much as I can every day.
This week, I’ve finished writing almost all of Kimberly’s route scenes. I say almost because some of them are connected to another girl’s route, and I’ll be writing those next. Only then will Kimberly’s scenes be 100% complete. I hadn't realized how much content she has this time around until I actually stopped to organize them to start posing.
In fact one of them was in the preview I posted earlier.
Either way, as soon as I finish writing a scene, I immediately start posing it in DAZ so there’s no time wasted in between.
There's still lots to work on, and your support has been invaluable in keeping me going. Thank you so much!!
