Happy New Year’s Eve!
I’m still working on the January renders; once that’s done, I can work on finishing the script for Day 3 of Chapter 2.
Development Bugs:
Now, I may have run into an issue with HS2, that being limited male customization. I’ve written some male NPCs into the story. (Nothing NTR-related, please trust me and trust the process.) I'm specifically limited in hair options and clothing. I still need to look through some of the modders pages, as they might have kept them exclusive from the "Repack." Besides that, I still need to test out the ones that are included and figure out how to render them properly on the characters. I think it has something to do with the shaders or body type; more testing is needed. The last option will be to pull out my blender skills and make my own assets, as I found a tutorial for converting creations into HS2 files. Either way, I’ll figure something out, even if that means the males having similar hairstyles.
You may be wondering why I didn’t use DAZ. It's simple: I wanted my first game in HS2. My second game will be more anime-like, using Koikatsu, inspired by "My Time With You" (the vibe, not the story). My third game, which is the biggest one in my head with three different paths, would be in DAZ. My hope is that by the time I get to that game, I’ll have enough experience to handle branching paths like that.
Girls Heights:
I was having issues with HS2’s height scales, but these are their official heights.
Emilia 5ft 3in
Claire 5ft 3in
Katie 5ft 0in
Leyla 4ft 9in
Sophia 5ft 1in
Twins 4ft 10in
Melissa 5ft 10in
Sarah 5ft 5in
Lilith 5ft 6in
Game Taboo Clarification:
I don’t think I’ve mentioned it outside of comments or replies, so let’s make it official. The girls are not underage. It’s not a part of the story. That’s why it starts with a birthday. That’s why you can’t customize it outside of your head; it won’t be in the scripts. They are just petite (think little Lupe). I am not against this kind of content in games; it’s just not the taboo being portrayed. (I know one site has that tag, but I didn't put it there, and I can’t remove it.)
Anyway, I appreciate your patience and support as I have fun learning all this development stuff.
Here’s to another year of Happy Gaming!
